Amazing how composed and assured Ipswich look going forward compared to us. Ipswich look rather well drilled. interestingly we’re playing the same formation 4231 but Ipswich play so much more centrally than us. I’d love to see Howson and Obrien get on the ball and start setting the tempo.

The only thing with Howson was how rotten he was in the midfield in the early parts of the season. He’s looked better recently but our midfield was constantly over run and no pressure in the early parts of the season.

I went for Matt Clarke. I think he’s been immense since he returned. Has put his head literally where it hurts for us and always tries hard every game. At the start of the season if you’ve had said that he would be above Lenihan and Fry in the pecking order I’d have laughed. But I also think he’s brought the best out in Rav too

Credit to the lads for not wilting away from home when we went behind. Not the biggest of positives tonight but another Lath goal and coming from behind to equalise against a good Hull team shouldn’t be sniffed at. Frustrating going forward but I really hope and think we will readdress that in the summer

Love to see Latte Lath get 2 more goals. Not a vintage performance but again, who cares. 3 wins with a second string team. I also thought Thomas looked really good today. On a free I wouldn’t be against signing him. Likewise with Ayling. Howson I’m not 100% sold on signing as a starter. But to come and slow the game down then it’s another no brainier. My only slight concern with Howson is that he always manages to pull a great string of performances out of the bag when a contract talk is looming. But mid December he is rotten

Really proud again of the team for turning a corner and finishing the season in strong fashion. Not arsed about the play offs at all, but at least they can hold their head high and make me feel proud again. Saturday 2nd March when we got smashed 2-0 by Stoke seems a mile away. 3 goals conceded, 9 scored and 0 defeats out of 6 is a great run with a squad depleted of injuries 👏 UTB

I echo a lot of what people have said. The game against Norwich has really turned our season around with a tweak to the formation but also instilling a bit of fight and belief in the players. Case in point against Southampton when Clarke went to clear it with his head. Players look bothered now and that’s all we can really ask for because that’s been vacant for a lot of the season. We’re a long way off being promotion candidates but I’m enjoying our recent trajectory and dare I say it starting to find out squad full of likeable players again who I can get behind. UTB
