spot on that mate, i'd play dijksteel over ayling 100% of the time. clarke or anyone else over fry tbh haha. though i might be tempted to play obrien left back because engle sucks.

it would help is our slow fullbacks didnt over commit going forwards, ayling does it all the time, but hes way to slow to track back with a winger. so never catches up.

With the players we have available, its no surprise we struggle. team brimming with bang average players. except the likes of forss, hackney and vdb who are better. doesnt help that we have the slowest wide players probably in the league, jesus. aylings jog is the same speed as his sprint. hes finished. all the while dijksteel on the bench all game. a player that could inject a bit of life into the wide areas. carrick baffles me with his selections. maybe to him all our players look rubbish and he cant tell the difference.

Carrick always talked crooks up to. I didnt mind silviera as a back up striker. Hes actuwlly okay, quite quick and has a de ent strike. No afraid to shoot, which is what you want from a striker.

eye sooner we dont see howson and barlaser together the better. hopefully mcgree comes in on the left and hackney drops back and barlaser is benched. hackney although still showing a bit of rustiness, you can still see hes way better than the others.

rather than say we are not very good at it. better to break it down to who exactly isnt good enough. I'll start. engal, fry, clarke, paddy all to slow on the ball to play out from the back sufficiently. the midfield is poor at it to. barlaser's reactions are way to slow. howson although seems fine gets caught way to much and is to sloppy in his passing. so we play out from the back and majority of our players in the defensive 3rd and not suited to it. carrick needs to rethink his tactics imo. sick of it tbh. we are not man city. i hate it when other lesser teams try it, more painful watc

diallo is a bit of a softy according to my mackem work mate. says he wont track back, wont put a tackle in and is scared to jump for headers. basically him saying hes not a complete player by any stretch, but he still wants him back btw. good at what he does, which seems to be run forwards cut in on the left foot and smash them in.
