Hahaha its true. just watch him. the only difference atm is tav is still very raw and a young lad. but he has more ability than braithwaite. he'll show it in time. the reason he starts today is because of that. i'll let his performance today back what i've said up. i'll bring it up after the game see how funny it is after we see him play in braiths position and out perform him. -

tav is better than braithwaite in every way other than experience. he'll track back more, work harder for his team mates, is faster, more skillful, better shooting, better passing. just a young lad still but once he gets in the team he'll stay there ahead of braith imo. -
mint picture that, going to have to frame it. Cant wait to go to rockcliffe with them, they will be buzzing seeing all the players. Isaac seemed a bit excited about meeting Tony Pulis to lol. think he must be listening to me when i'm praising him :D

thanks lads. i mentioned AK actually, i said i was disappointed when AK sacked him. they all said it was an interesting day. bauser you could tell he wasnt going to give anything away transfer wise. i did ask if we were signing anyone in jan, he said he really doesnt know, and laughing while saying it. guess its a bit of a lottery lol. must be a tough job pushing deals through. there is a picture on mfc twitter with bauser and my lads on my settee lol

We just had a visit from the club and Neil himself came round our house. Had a good chat with him, seems a nice bloke. (asked him if albert was coming back in jan) he just chuckled said he doesnt have a clue lol. on 26th January my 3 lads are going to be mascots for the Bristol City game. Hummel are letting us use their box for the game. Which is fantastic, wouldn't be able to sit pitch side with the two little ones, cold isnt good for them. We are going to the training ground and will meet Tony and all the players. They are going to kit out the lads with new strips. Cant wait. All part of World Giving Day. Great stuff from the club, kids were all getting excited, except the little one who managed to remain in front to the TV watching Robloks video's for the majority of the visit lol. https://twitter.com/boro

Boro V Wigan Athletic 2-0 (Hugill (2) )
Dynamo Kev replied to Downsouth's topic in Match Day Threads 2018/19 Season
that wigan comms team seem to think they were doing well until friend got the pen. they probs be nervous or a hammering now. its typical football, go to a team who cant score for toffee at home and get thrashed lol. hugill so pleased for him, hes been improving all the time. a fit and confident hugill is a good asset to have. -

all this neg about team selection. wtf is he supposed to do. we dont have messi and ronaldo to bring into the team. the summer window failures are as plain as day, no one is more disappointed than pulis either. so forget about pushing the neg team selections on him. he might have made odd signings considering we FAILED to bring in attackers. but if we did get bolasie adomah taylor etc we'd all be not talking about then a wierd we would be talking about our strength in depth. -
i'll guess of the top of my head and say, forest away. 1-0 lead. britt and antonio turned it round.
-
i had a feeling we'd be better tonight than before the break. i thought we looked tired and lethargic for a few weeks. those big games vs west brom leeds etc take it out of the legs a bit. nice to hear pulis actually state that we struggled with the fixtures and he blames his training to hard was a factor before the forest game. never heard karanka admit he was wrong.

Boro V Nottingham Forest 0-2

You just expect him to save anything that isnt hit well in a corner. like pears, crap at kicking but fast on his feet, great shot stopper and also excellent at one on ones. i feel reassured with him in there. that snap shot that came through the crowd from chalobah at PR, i thought dazza has got this, then bam you see him palm it round the post. class keeper, lonergan or dimi in goal its back to 2-1. -

yes the old club thing worked great at the city ground last year :D was it 4 one on one misses for him? that was the game i knew britt was not way worth 15million and will never be good enough for the premier league. he isnt mentally strong enough. hes weak, remember his skied penna last season. weak He missed a pen :omg: Iv'e seen Ronaldo miss penalties. mate he hit it over the stand behind the goal to. we all miss pens but miss a stand? :D Zenden managed to hit his other foot :funny: still scored though, thats skill that is lol -

I like this team but I can't see him leaving Shotton out and I expect he will again have us playing 4 at the back. Britt has to start for me, old club and all that. yes the old club thing worked great at the city ground last year :D was it 4 one on one misses for him? that was the game i knew britt was not way worth 15million and will never be good enough for the premier league. he isnt mentally strong enough. hes weak, remember his skied penna last season. weak He missed a pen :omg: Iv'e seen Ronaldo miss penalties. mate he hit it over the stand behind the goal to. we all miss pens but miss a stand? :D -

These days I'm still nervous with a 2-0 lead We haven’t lost a 2goal lead all season. Not sure we’ve actually lost a lead hull

i predict we will have 9 men sitting deep and 1 all alone. or 8 really deep and 2 all alone. i also predict we wont really look like we want to score are are even bothered about trying to score unless we are getting beat and its the last 15 minutes of the game. -
Boro v Hull City Tigers (a) 1-1 (Assombolonga)
Dynamo Kev replied to Tom's topic in Match Day Threads 2018/19 Season
my thoughts. the problem with our selections are simple. playing 3 central midfielder together. they are on top of eachother getting in eachothers way if anything. in the mean time massive open spaces without our players in the attacking third. hugill won tonnes on balls brought the ball down and then what? we have 3 boring one paced plodders sat in he middle adding nothing. we need to drop the third and play braithwaite off hugill and britt. or nothing will change attacking wise. -

i like that, similar to what i was thinking, although saville maybe instead of clayton. howson to drop back. my logic is you want all your team to be goal scorers not just the odd one. sav is a scorer and must start because of it. the mc can score howson has a decent shot on him ayala and flint can score the strikers obviously can. the more goals in the team the more likely we are to win. not rocket science. -
maybe because we are sitting deep and letting swans pass it about when they have the ball. its annoying me seeing us let them have so much possession. by doing that we are effectively making it easy for them as we cant put them under pressure if they have the ball. swans will be very happy at how things are going, we are making it far to easy for them(when they have the ball).

I agree on ability and if this keeps up he'll be a £3m striker next summer if we're lucky, if we're going to put him out to pasture why oh why would we pull the plug on him going to Hull it's illogical. I'm not even going to go there on Chapman and why we didn't let him go it's abundantly clear a month later he's not close to our plans even though we're now playing a formation with WINGERS. I tell you our transfer policy sometimes it is something, it's like a fine wine with a punctured cork every week it gets a little murkier and a little more soured. Disagree with loaning Wing out though at his age he either makes it or doesn't we don't have big money tied up in him he has to make the most of his opportunities Fletcher on the other hand I have no clue what we're doing with him. Rudy the gymnast will be back soon though fit him into that bench I guess Dael's the one to get culled which... yeah. are we? shotton flint ayala friend downing --------sav clayts howson --------------braithe --------------britt thats how i see it.

Was under heavy pressure. you can see what a beast he is in the air though. very strong. he'll score a few headers this season.
