  1. AA won't be back 99% certain on that
  2. Boro can't win. Traore, Brady assuming he's the Norwich player we've bid for, Moses. Would people be happy with that? I'd be delighted. Yeah but you're just happy with us signing anyone. You have no filter ffs. Well except for Harry McGuire for some reason - I think he stole your g/f or something. A couple of months ago you were talking up some Spanish third division player we'd been linked with weren't you? You just want us to make signings. If we signed a 19 year old pub player you'd be on here explaining how the hat-trick he got against the Dog and Duck is evidence of his exciti
  3. With changing the reserves/development squad game to under 23's wouldn't it have made sense for this competition to be the same.
  4. As in, their own ex player David Luiz. Is buying your own ex players kicking into a trend now! Didn't they sell him for £50m? Can't see PSG taking a £20m hit. @ £30m if Chelsea give him a three year deal they'll essentially be getting him on a free. If he signs a longer deal Chelsea could make money each month on the deal for the first 3 years.
  5. As in, their own ex player David Luiz. Is buying your own ex players kicking into a trend now! We've been doing it for decades. #trendsetters.
  6. Traore has the potential to be something really special. I would have the same criticisms of him as AA though he's younger though so hopefully he can add to his game. He's on some wedge at Villa though.
  7. Honestly would have though he'd be West Ham bound.
  8. I'veIIbeen told that the club hope to complete three deals tomorrow but it could be upto 5 (depending on outs). Chambers Clough (Zidane second choice) Record Breaking Signing Traore if Adomah goes Striker if Rhodes goes. As I say I'm not that up with domestic transfers so don't take this as itk. Bid in for Norwich player (info from a Norwich player). I believe the OB is staying at Rockcliffe tonight don't know if that's a sign or not.
  9. Heard there's a clause in his contract where we have to pay Blackburn £10m if he plays in the efl trophy
  10. So much this. Not an anti-climax at all. Could not be more of a Karanka type player. I blame Lurker. Talk of this £20m bid has got people thinking we could sign someone like James Rodriguez. It won't be Son but how would he be an anti climax for a newly promoted club? Because from what I've seen of him in the premier league he doesn't do much. He puts in a huge amount of effort but doesn't produce an awful lot. He'd fit right in.
  11. Son and Ashley Young are probably the most Aitor Karankaish players I can think of.
  12. It's worse than you think I got a text saying Moysey wants a chat. Probably wants you to see if there are any jobs going in China. I'm hoping he wants me to lace up my boots. Distinct lack of short, fat, slow strikers in the premier league.
  13. It's worse than you think I got a text saying Moysey wants a chat.
  14. I thought it sounded more like Zac Clough
  15. Not like the 'Jason Steele will go to the World Cup in Brazil' boro fans.
  16. Gaston, Leadbitter, Nugent and Guzan will probably have 200 appearances between them.
  17. Kind of agree with your general point jamesp but would say we got into good positions numerous times and it was a result of our poor play rather than WBA good play that resulted in us not getting a chance or having a shot. Agree with the first bit but how many times have we said we would have taken chances on another day? How often has it happened? 5 points is a solid start to the season. There is however enough in our game play to be concerned about if we don't address the problem areas on the pitch. If we do and add it on to the strengths we've shown then we have a really good chance
  18. Yup that's like 4 a game. In other news Nugent is the best England striker.
  19. That's quality insightful information there. I predict we will find out by the end of the transfer window if he stays or goes.
  20. I think he played something like 23 mins upfront for us last season in the league and that was in a 2 and we went hell for leather. The other two times he played upfront were in the early rounds of the league cup against league one opposition. I just don't see Stuani having the vision, touch or nounce to play up top on his own in our formation. He's essentially a battering ram. As a general point I'm not keen on people who 'can do a job'. Downing at 10, Nsue as RW just doesn't work and you end up making two or three changes to accommodate one.
