  1. For those who are into this kind of thing, here's what Boro's ratings currently are on FIFA 19 (these may change before the full release): GKs Randolph 71 Lonergan 65 Dimi 64 Defenders Right Back - Shotton 71 Left Back - Friend 71 Mcqueen 66 (Still at Southampton on it) Centre Back - Flint 75 Ayala 73 Batth 70 (Still at Wolves on it) Fry 70 Midfielders - Besic 74 Howson 73 Saville 73 (Still at Millwall on it) Clayton 72 De Sart 71 Leadbitter 70 Mcnair 70 Wing 64 Wingers - Downing 72 Chapman 65 Tavernier 63 Strikers - Braithwaite 76 Assombalonga 73 Hugill 72 Gestede 71 Fletcher 67
  2. Villa are gonna have some problems keeping their loanees happy if they manage to get Bolasie, Targett and Abraham when they already have at least 3 loan players I think with there being the whole 5 loans in the match squad deal... wonder if we can use that to our advantage. (Sorry if someone's already mentioned it)
  3. He's already at Brighton so how can they loan him to themselves?
  4. We were linked with Puncheon before the whole Bolasie stuff today I'm sure, plus those two have played together before under Pulis at Palace I think?
  5. Inflows: 40m Bamford £7m (potentially rising to 10) Adama £15m (£18.75m release clause, Villa received 3.75m) Ben Gibson £15m Fabio £2m Barragan £1m Outflows: £12m Flint £5m (potentially rising to 7/8m) Mcnair £5m Hugill £2m loan fee Net Spend: +£28m unless I'm missing something...
  6. Mo Besic is off according to Sky Sports due to agent fees...
  7. We've rejected a 11 million pound bid for Ben Gibson from Burnley and haven't put a value on him as he's rated highly (Northern Echo)
  8. Pulis said at the fans forum today that we've offered Adama a new contract, are still interested in Besic and Bamford wanted to go to Leeds and would've been part of his plans this season otherwise.
  9. 10/10 username To be fair though I'm not bedwetting over our transfer business and current squad like some of our fans this window and hope to be pleasantly surprised by a few signings. Maybe I should be called Realistic Boro fan?
  10. Hopes for our future transfer business: Buy Bryan (6m) Freeman (3-4m) and Loan Ojo Expectation: Sell Adama (18m), Buy Waghorn (7m) and Walters (4m)
  11. Ffp changed after Barca and PSG exploited it via inflated sponsorship deals so Villa will still need to raise about £40m in player sales or they could end up getting point reductions, demotions and an embargo etc
  12. Ffp was changed after PSG and City did weird things with sponsorship deals so Villa still need to raise £40m in player sales regardless of the takeover.
  13. Freeman from QPR is the only realistic player I can think of who fits that profile. Jota? I know he's not really a number 10, but he has been playing there, I think. I think Jota is 27?
  14. Freeman from QPR is the only realistic player I can think of who fits that profile.
  15. You've all spent the past few days getting angry at a hypothetical scenario which may not even happen... We've been linked with two left backs recently yet all I've seen on this forum is "Pulis is gonna play *random CB* as a fullback". Interesting stuff.
  16. Interesting if true, this could be the signing that ships Gibbo down the river? if we get a CM (McNair) CB and a winger for that money its a good deal. Think Flint is a better CB at this level as well, teams will be petrified to give corners away :funny: Found this on Twitter as well, so we may be announcing McNair and Flint together: @SkySports_Keith Aden Flint currently undergoing a medical at Middlesbrough after fee was agreed with Bristol City. The defender will cost upwards of £5m.
  17. Boro Agree Deal for Flint: https://amp.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/06/26/por-boro-agree-deal-for-bristol-city-star-flint/?utm_medium=share%20service&utm_campaign=social%20media&utm_source=twitter&utm_content=HITCdeadlineday&__twitter_impression=true
  18. Is this a transfer thread or a moan about Pulis' hypothetical tactics next season thread?
  19. and Forestieri although Bannan is much more likely to happen.
  20. Also found this link which suggests they'd pay more than I thought... http://bjfoot.com/2017/08/30/transfert-everton-pense-a-gestede/amp/ 'Everton, currently 12th in English PL and qualified for the group stages of the Europa League would have views on Rudy Gestede. The Mersey club would be ready to pay an offer of about 17 million euros to sign the Benin striker of M'Boro. It remains to be seen if the Manager of the Toffees Ronald Koeman will take action before the closing of the market."
  21. Everton are interested in Gestede and would be willing to pay around £10m for him apparently...
  22. Britt plays for the same national team as Tisserand and Braithwaite is his former teammate from his time on loan at Toulouse. The deal should happen though but those follows will be from a while ago. Britt hasn't ever played for them though, and hasn't actually declared to play for them yet, I doubt that's why he followed him. guys when has anything ever happened on a sunday? never? looks like bauser has put in the over time this weekend. excited by this transfer. first time i've been buzzing with a cb after seeing youtube clips. looks a real player :D To be fair this deal has been discussed for quite a while, think the rumours started a few weeks ago, maybe we had the breakthrough yesterday? Then again we never sort out transfers till a Friday so doubt anything is that imminent lol
  23. Britt plays for the same national team as Tisserand and Braithwaite is his former teammate from his time on loan at Toulouse. The deal should happen though but those follows will be from a while ago.
  24. Middlesbrough would have entered into negotiations with Ingolstadt for the transfer of Marcel Tisserand. Middlesbrough has entered into negotiations with Ingolstadt (ALL) for the transfer of Franco-Congolese defender Marcel Tisserand, 24, trained in Monaco and passed by Lens and Toulouse. He could commit to it for four years. Last season, Monaco sold Tisserand to Ingolstadt for € 5.5 million. ^ Translated from this article updated today in L'Equipe: https://m.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Marcel-tisserand-vers-middlesbrough/825411?xtref=https:%2F%2Ft.co%2FUB4FmRIoTP%C2%A4amp%C2%A71
