  1. Probably everyone including the manager unless you actually believe Pulis sees Bamford as a natural fit for that position, in which case you'd have to question his judgement on anything football related. You’d have to question almost all he’s previous managers and coaches judgement too because they seem to think bamfords best position is out wide too Absolutely. Question them. Because I've watched the kid play....lots. He is a bloody good forward, and a fairly poor winger. Seriously are we questioning his best position to make ourselves feel happy about him leaving. He's a striker. He's our best striker. Our manager is clueless. Our transfer team is diabolical. Our club is going backwards. And people are still happy to blindly follow and "keep the faith". "Believe". Give us something to sodding believe in because I have no faith at all. In the manager. In the playing style. In the tactics. And I'm starting to lose faith in Gibson. His appointments. His direction. And even his commitment. Btw this isn't bed wetting. This has been building for a long time. Since promotion we have earned nearly 200 million pounds in tv money alone. Our net spend over this time is around 40 million. If we have spent the rest on wages (above what we would have been spending if we hadn't been promoted) then someone very high up needs sacking instantly. If Gibson wanted to take some of his owed money back out then that's fine, but he should have just said. We as fans would have understood. However, to come out with lines like 'smash the league' while having a negative net spend and reducing wages with incoming (players on champo wages with clauses for pay rises if promoted) just doesn't sit right with me. I get the blind followers and pulis-ites will hurl abuse my way now, but surely people can see this playing out I really hate to say it but this nails how I feel!
  2. I don't post on here as much as I used to but I'm looking for a bit of feedback on some guided exercise videos I've been putting up on YouTube recently. As a keen runner I've used similar videos over the years including the likes of Sufferfest, Virtual Active and also apps like Zwift which inspired me to try and make my own. The link below one is one from Angkor, Cambodia. The footage is from the Channel owner but I edited it, applied the ambient sound, effects and workout guidance prompts. I'm no certified running coach or professional video editor so this is just a hobby for me but I know there are a few on here who know their stuff production wise so I'd welcome any thoughts https://forums.runnersworld.co.uk/resources/emoji/smile.png[/img] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGGdLMk-dvQ&t=135s
  3. Because Iran not like Fifa where you just pick up a controller and the players instantly respond to your commands. There's little time on the training pitch with games on Boxing Day, December 30th and January 1st. 3 games in 7 days - and the likelihood is no full training the day after a match, so even if they're called in on Christmas Day that's only 3 days full training with Liddle. That's no time with which to get a new game plan going. You make good points mate but as I'm sure you know its amazing how players all of a sudden start pulling their weight when a manager is sacked, whether they've had time with the new manager or not. New manager bounce isn't for nothing. I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Clayton and Friend's form improve all of a sudden (if selected).
  4. Taller than Javier Mascherano like, just saying :) Massively depends on formation and obviously talent but yes, 5'9" would be too small to play CB in the Championship.
  5. Spot on Betamaxman, If he actually is a troll then with over 1000 posts to date just ignore him and admire his dedication.

What a warrior on the pitch and by all accounts a great bloke off it too. One of my Boro hero's. RIP Ugo!

Good spot Uwe but do Bet365 ever act on the bit in there T&C's extracted below? 'Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to a deposit bonus, enhanced payments, free bets, risk free bets or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, bet365 reserves the right to reclaim the bonus element of such offers and in their absolute discretion either settle bets at the correct odds, void the free and risk free bets or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus.' They're on about 'Arbors', basically people suspected of getting loads of accounts to put their bets on to clear out bookies. Its a £50 limit, if you stick to that they won't touch ya. If they suspect you've made 20 accounts to put the same bet on 20 times to circumvent that then they'll take action. Used to get limits sent down on a morning of certain horses that were usually trading at a higher price than they could be layed off at when I worked at Ladbrokes. Basically you couldn't lose if you laid it on Betfair as we were offering special odds on certain horses, so to stop people taking advantage they'd say something like '£50 at the special price then the rest at a lower price'. Had to report it to other shops if you suspected someone was getting loads of people to come in and have the same bet too to circumvent it Cheers all, I'm £1 and a bit up right now then and feeling proper nervous :D Come on you Gunners!

  9. Bugger! With Fabio injured the last thing we wanted is Friend picking up a knock.
  10. According to club sources, Ramsdens demanded their cup back, it seems that we couldn't keep up the payments on it. There was more interest on the cup, than there was in the cup. Hang on lads, that same success was also the trigger for the extra season ticket sale that helped us to fund Kieron Dyer's taxi to the Riverside.
  11. The team AK put out tonight certainly suggests he thinks so or we'd be playing a much more weakened team. The League is the priority obviously but winning is a habit too!
  12. In 2013 his number plate was T10 TEV. It was in all the papers at the time. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2358855/Newcastle-midfielder-Cheick-Tiote-fight-claims-used-false-Belgian-driving-permit-UK-licence.html Might have changed it since mind or have an alternative one.
