  1. Very negative display, they were crap and were not much better. A blessing we in disguise not going through and another game helping the manager sort the wheat from the chaff.
  2. I don't agree with your comment. Two wrongs don't make a right. Yes in this modern era any contact in the area is really a claim for a penalty so the refs have a hell of a job on their hands. The late goals these days is becoming a real common occurrence with the fact that you risk all to put pressure in the box to hopefully get a decision. It would be a contactless sport in that area of the pitch of you think Grants challenge made the other player fall down. Just saying
  3. HI Downsouth, of course the basis of your post is correct but a little harsh considering a change of personnel at the top with a different approach and goal perhaps in a very short time. The overall performance was at least pleasing to the eye. You are on the money with the chances missed which i guess should be irrelevant to the new manager coming in. The good thing about this league is that we get to dust ourselves down and go again and again and again. UTB
  4. Fulham forum cannot believe their luck they think they did a smash and grab, some quotes were 4 sitters missed and a blatant penalty turned down, Boro all *** and wind with no end product. Stats say that it was not so one sided.
  5. I thought it would be a tight game and it was, i thought we would need to score with all that energy in the first half to stop the inevitable. Penalty decision was a little harsh but that is what happens in football, also think i was right with my observation of rather having Assombolonga than Gestede even though Gestede was handy knocking balls down it soon became easier for Fulham to predict and stop. Good feeling though even in defeat.
  6. I tell you what we are using a lot of energy we will need to get a goal. They will come on otherwise
  7. Wow very positive start. A couple of half chances to say the least
  8. I cannot agree that Christie is dropped. He puts a shift in and can is proactive. The manager definitely sets up to hit long balls to Gestede otherwise i don't see why he should drop Assombolonga!
  9. Steele like a fish on land for both goals :D I'm happy for the goals but a bit harsh on the keeper, it could have been given as a foul or certainly his own defender did his best to foul him also. It is absolutely never a foul. Absolutely calm down, not exactly sure it was a foul but a keeper going down under some pressure often gets a foul, be hard to say there was no contact....

  11. Some great comments people. Well done utb onwards and upwards
  12. Well said mate, not a joy to watch and a unenviable task the manager has trying to sort the wheat from the chaff, keep the players, fans, chairman happy and of course get points. wow
  13. Preston 9 game undefeated run ended by the mighty Boro with some not all of its loyal unwavering fans behind them. Lol UTB
  14. Probably watching the same *** we're all watching. Nope, I'm enjoying my afternoon watching something entertaining. I'm not gonna suddenly decide that the football is all awesome and acceptable because we scored two goals. That's just gephind though, I think he's infatuated with me. Just making sure i keep you honest.
  15. What a load of crap you wrote, the whole team is off the pace and the manager is having to put a team out to work a lot of things out and it shows. It is all because we bought wrongly.
  16. Seems a little bit panicky. Shame some appear to have lost their way.
