I genuinely think that Akpom is leaving. If he was going to sign a new contract he would have by now.
I just hope the delay is us wanting to get a replacement lined up ready to prevent full meltdown. I don't think the replacement needs to be a Number 10.. I think we have that position covered within our summer signings. I can see us targeting an Archer (dreamland) or an Armstrong (only slightly more likely).
I'm not unhappy with this scenario, just want it to play out quicker because this thread is becoming unbearable to read 😫

We had zero goal that with Chuba in the last 3 matches with Coventry, not sure he is the difference maker...
