So would you accept relegation under Woodgate over another season of Pulis? Last season was awful and I was definitely in the "Pulis out" camp, but the thought of our club slipping further down the ladder fills me with dread.

This season has the potential to be much, much worse..

At this very moment in time I can honestly say that I miss Pulis, Monk and Karanka

  5. Just had a rub, so satisfying. Hope it works!
  6. Paddy McNair slams one home from just inside the box against Derby in the 75th minute. Unfortunately we are already 3-0 down.
  7. Desperate times lead to desperate measures! Its the return of the Magic Lamp! I urge everyone to give it a rub and wish for a Boro win, it worked before, it can work again!

  9. Introduction. The last time I authored a matchday thread there was a sense of optimism on the forum after a positive, attacking performance away at Luton.. Unfortunately, since then that excitement has dissapated into a sense of frustration not seen since the days of Pulis-ball.. Luckily we have a nice easy home game coming up next against.. Oh.. Fulham Last night, whilst we were slogging out a dour 0-0 with the terriers, Fulham were scoring things called goals in a 3-2 win over Luton. They even have a striker who can not only hit the target, but actually scored 3 times! Whats worse is that we actually almost signed Mitrovic a couple of seasons back.. BearNews In response to fans frustration, Assombalonga and Fletcher take part in some extra target practice. Saville and McNair give their view on whether I'll be doing the next matchday thread.. Tony Pulis gives his reaction after watching last night's epic encounter.. The Big Questions What do you think it will take to stop the rot? Do you genuinely think Woodgate knows what he is doing? Britt and Fletcher's form: lack of confidence or lack of ability? What is our best formation using what we have available? Score Prediction I'm going for Boro 0-2 Fulham with two goals from Mitrovic. What do you think?

  11. Will get the Fulham thread up tonight, probably just another one off 🤦🏻‍♂️
  12. I think we have scrapped identity in search of results... Which we are not getting either.
  13. Ah the good old TJFA, I remember a lady called Anne that used to referee some of my matches. Best referee in the league!
  14. He only resides in Cleveland, doesn't mean he was born there, raised there or supports the Boro. I reside in Cardiff.
  15. I think this may have been me. One thread to discuss transfers as there is never really a break in speculation despite the windows. Just makes sense to me
  16. The main difference for me is that whilst there is no doubt Woodgate does indeed speak with passion about football he appears (thus far) to bear fruit from any practical application on the pitch. Cowley speaks intelligently and makes a change on the pitch. This may come in time with Woody and I sincerely hope it does I just think he is lacking in something a outside of a love of the game.
  17. Is it just me or does anyone else feel envious when they see and hear the way Danny Cowley speaks about football. Really wish we had made a real push for him after Pulis.
