1. Does the EU Referendum remind anyone else of the Monty Python "Argument Clinic" sketch? Is this the five minute argument or the full five months? I've just told you. No you didn't. Yes I did... We're better off financially staying in. No we're not. Yes we are... Immigration is out of control. No it's not. Yes it is... Employment would suffer. No it wouldn't. Yes it would... The bloody Tories started this. No they didn't. Yes they did... David Cameron's a two-faced tw@. No he isn't. Yes he is. Underneath it all he's actually a sceptic at heart. A really, really sly one.
2. I have finished the first series of Gotham and, somewhat to my surprise, I found it very enjoyable. I have never been a comic-book reader but you can't get to be my age without knowing that Gotham is where Batman hangs out. Fortunately, the modern version(s) of Batman have hardly anything in common with the one in those appallingly hammy TV shows of yesteryear, with their Kapows! Crunches! and Ouches! and all those suffering catfish! :D I'm looking forward to starting the next series and maybe exploring more of the genre.
3. I've just watched it on BBC iPlayer and the principals just weren't sparking, either between themselves or with the audience. The format is unchanged but the show lacks the camaraderie laced with needle that made the other crew such fun to watch. LeBlanc wasn't too bad, I suppose, but Evans was just bloody irritating. Have they got anyone else lined up?

Dimi - Yes or No

Dunnom mate, Depends on whether you want to bug Brunners or not. :D

Dimi - Yes or No

Yes, valid points but I think I'd better not change the options after people have already voted.

Dimi - Yes or No

Can...can you change it? There's a spelling error in the first one and that'll bug me all night D: Go on then I'll buy it. What's wrong? Fight fot his place. My eyesight's getting worse. :( I use a magnifying glass sometimes and I should have used it to check because the error isn't clear without it, even after you've pointed it out.. And bug Brunners, you mean?

Dimi - Yes or No

I hope CWC doesn't mind but I have made this a poll, along the lines suggested earlier by EstonPidge.
9. "The Story of 2015/16" shows all of the goals scored by and against Boro during our promotion season. I watched it when someone (belated thanks) posted a link to it earlier and I recall seeing Dimi make a number of mistakes and thinking "Hmmm..." at the time. The vid shows hardly any of Dimi's great saves, just the ones he didn't stop so it's patently unfair to him. But still...
10. That's odd. ITV Player was faultless for me and my Sky broadband is delivering less than 4Mb/sec nowadays.
11. If you're in the UK then don't forget that the terrestrial TV channels all stream their broadcast output. I watched the match on ITV. Go here for TV Schedules
12. I was a newcomer to this league and finished joint 6th. well impressed with myself considering I played my wild cards early in the season when I didn't really understand what they did!!!! Dunno how I missed that it was your first season, too. Terrific performance, mate, especially since it was your first ever shot at the BPL competition!
13. The questions you have asked are of the kind that feature in every techie's worst nightmares. Regardless of what Micro$oft might claim, un/installing operating systems isn't a job for a computer novice. Consequently, guiding a novice through the procedure is hair-tearingly frustrating, even if you're sitting right next to him. Trying to do it remotely doesn't bear thinking about. There is an old story about the user who caused a great deal of confusion at a help desk after he assumed that his CD tray was a coffee cup holder... None of that was at all helpful but you started it, after all. ;
14. Yeah, with the advent of Service Pack 3, XP was the most stable home operating system M$ ever produced. Win 7 is now looking to rival XP in the stability stakes and I'll be sticking with it until I'm forced to move on. As as Windows 10 being free, my advice is to beware of geeks bearing gifts.
15. It's different insofar as Atokous is this thread's author and Atokous will remain its author after the upcoming mergers. Much depends on who posts first and this thread is older than the others. As explained above, using "KM"'s post wouldn't work because it's too young and it wouldn't still be opening post following the proposed mergers. That aside, I agree that "KM" would have been a great candidate for the expert summariser job but he never applied. Also, we have already seen what a splendid job Atokous does.
16. This is going to be our transfers thread. Existing transfer-related threads will be merged with this one. I have arranged for Atokous to be the thread's author so that he can, as agreed, maintain a summary of transfer activity in the opening post.
17. Oh hell, I just noticed this. Bloody typical! :) It's getting fixed.
18. So far we've got a thread for rumours and now this one for linked players and I propose that we don't open any more, concise or otherwise. This will trample on some toes, no doubt, but existing transfer-related threads are going to be merged. The new thread will be authored by Atokous and he will maintain a summary in the opening post, as he did last time.
19. I have been extremely remiss in my duties. Sorry. Although I haven't been saying much (nobody else has either), I have been paying close attention to the oneBoro fantasy league all season. It's been remarkable how the experienced hands have done the business and they dominate the upper reaches of the table once again. There are only two new names in the top ten, so well done Beckyboro and CarlBoro! What a tussle that was for top slot, though. After Beckyboro took the lead in week 6, it began to look like she would romp away with it as she shrugged off first one challenger and then an
20. No, Ayeres, you're not getting away with deleting it. I think the whole world needs to know what you've been watching! :D
21. You know how hearing an oldie can sometimes surprise you with just how good it was? My player just stopped me in my tacks with Elkie Brooks' "We've got tonight" and it made me appreciate what a hell of a voice that gal has! The next track was Tom Jones and "Delilah" so I suppose my playlist builder program must have been on a bit of an oldies power trip. :) And here's a holy crap! live performance:
22. No sign of SomBo for more than a week. :( Looks like MotorMouth retired on a high as the round's top scorer: Round 42 Results: Division 1

Barticus 2-0Borodane

DonnySmog 4-6Marz

Legendary Misfit 5-0Snowblind

London_born_Bo..
