I have been disappointed of late by the absence of old style match reports, the ones that gave the players a rating out of ten, along with a comment or two on each individual's performance. Please don't misunderstand me; I like having the player ratings and consensus view that this thread provides, it's just that I miss reading the informed opinion that match-goers used to post to our MDTs.

From the match preview:
-
I'm predicting Brighton and Boro to continue in outstanding form with a final day clash to decide the Championship title.
-
Same goes for me. Makes no sense to vote on player performance when I didn't see the match.
-
Going top of the Championship with a last minute winner against Reading at the Riverside, Tuesday, 12/04/2016: A magic moment from Radio Tees. A rather poignant one, too. And here's the musical. :D
-
I thought it might be an idea to have somewhere to collect magic moments like the one last night.
-
Feels like your head is full of cotton wool and there is nothing you can do about it.

Yes, good to see Friend's return to form and good, too, to see Ayala back in the side. Adomah was MoM for me, though - on the "wrong" wing most of the match and side-footing his goal like it was the most natural thing in the world. He's shaping up to be player of the season for me. Love the guy.
-
Don't be surprised when a single result let's you down for an accumulator. It's much more likely to happen than getting the bet up. As an example suppose that you back six even money shots in an accumulator. It is six times more likely that one of them will let you down than it is that all six will come in.

Long live Spruce Stringbean! And Rev Spooner! :)

Reliable stream and I don't know what other streams are showing at half time but this one's showing highlights: http://www.usagoals.me/football/1522507/3/middlesbrough-vs-preston-north-end-live-stream-online.html -
Yes, my caps on "City" tell the tale. I've had a look at London's history and, as you say, the square mile is very much its own thing, even having its own police force. The complexities could have been created only by financiers. ;)

Quite so but the admission makes him a hypocrite. I find it significant, too, that he intervened in 2013 to ensure that EU moves to tackle money laundering would apply less stringently to trusts. Other EU members, notably France and Austria, accused Britain of double standards over tax avoidance. Cameron's intervention was, arguably, in the City of London's best interests and what's good for the City is, of course, good for the UK. The fact that the move was also good for trust beneficiaries, such as the Cameron family, was purely coincidental.

Cash for questions and the MP expenses scandal are nothing compared to the revelation that David Cameron has benefited directly from his father's immoral* off-shore investment fund. He has, of course, benefited all his privileged life from his father's "immorality" but it has to be admitted that he, the Right Honourable David Cameron MP, is entirely innocent of such wrongdoings, personally. Well, perhaps not entirely, it now appears. *Cameron's own description of such tax-avoidance vehicles. It's still early days but I predict that a whole host of the great and the good are going to

I have watched the first three episodes of "Vinyl" and it's right up my street. Bobby Cannavale is great in the lead role - nearly as good as his psychopathic gangster portrayal in "Boardwalk".

Listening to Radio Tees coverage and it's good. It lacks something, though... Fond, so fond memories, Ali.

I start everyone on 5 and I awarded Clayton and Adomah the match's top score of 8, so the high ratings make sense if the majority of people are starting off on 6. Out of interest, how many completed the survey?
