Yeah, suppose a generous reviewer awards the squad 7 points apiece, save for Downing (6) and Dimi (8). Now suppose a less generous reviewer awards everyone 5 points, save for Downing (4) and Dimi (6). The average player score is 6, save for Downing (5) and Dimi (7) and this properly reflects the consensus on the forum. This is one of those times where maths/stats yields counter-intuitive results because it's not the actual numbers that are important, rather it's the relationship between them that matters.

I like the idea of players kicking off on five and developing their scores in play. That makes sense. If others want to start players on a different score, say six, then that's okay too. It's all good, so long as everyone is consistent with their scoring over the course of the season.
