  1. Wherever we are playing next season, Hayden Hackney will be playing in the Premier League, mustard again for the 21s.
  2. Very clever that, half expected an announcement at about 7pm with a "That concludes our transfer business"
  3. If its anything to do with old gravel head at Everton, no way cannon is coming here. He's still bitter about the FA Cup semi🤣🤣
  4. Haven't read the whole thread, was that touch by crooks deliberate for the goal? If it was then it was absolute class.
  5. Glad I have so much going on right now that outstrips football or I'd be flipping raging.
  6. The ITKs can correct me but from my pasty loving workmates, they reckon this was agreed a while ago just awaiting green light from Boro end, don't think the article says anything that wasn't already known?
  7. Take your excellent considered post and be off with you, this thread is not for the likes of you 😉
  8. That's 3 of us then. I stay in digs at a pub in W Mids once a week and Landlord's a fanatic Villa fan, adamant that they were talking to Leeds last Thurs. Dismissed it as he is always banging on about Archer and Ramsey
  9. I've been meaning to post exactly this for the last couple of days. Surely 15m is a min starting point for Archer, even with a buy back clause. My personal opinion is that if the Latte fee reported is correct, this is about our ceiling on a single player.
  10. Wetter than an otters pocket but still can't beat that buzz for a new season.
  11. Ref def spoke to lenihan too, think that would have been a red in a league game. Dieing looks so laid back
  12. Born in North Tees, lived in Sockton, Germany, Reading, NI, moved back to Stockton when parents divorced. Got out of dodge at 17, joined Army and lived in (deep breath:) Surrey, Nienburg, Munster, Catterick, Holywood (NI), Cyprus, Canada, Ripon, Lisburn, Birmingham, Shefford, Boroughbridge, Catterick again, Waterlooville, Havant, Hambledon Village and now back in Stockton. Think that's it😂
  13. That's what the wife said as o left, 'have fun'. Not a clue
  14. I've convinced myself over the last few years that other things are more important. Who am I kidding, bleeding bricking it, haven't driven tonight as only alcohol will keep me calm, UTFB
  15. Tried explaining this to a colleague this morning. Thick as a whale omlette, just couldn't grasp it because 'Sky said we need 2 more points'
  16. What was amazing tonight was I felt like we didn't even click into top gear, big shout to Mowatt, bossed it when he came on. Archer just impresses more and more every time you see him.
  17. Preston fans , absolutely quality IMO, bit of a love in there. Archer, holy crap what a player this boy is. If he had been here for the season I truly believe we would have had 2 x 20 goal strikers. Chuba just defies words now given where he was. I am the ultimate pessimist, but the football this side plays at times is a joy. Happy camper here.
  18. An absolute joy to watch today that. Reading were bang average but god some of the football we play at the minute is stunning. Can't remember football this liquid since merse etc ...
  19. My Granddaughter started to cry when Man Utd scored. Which means she wants Newcastle to win!!! Put her outside in her pushchair for 30 mins to let her stew on her actions, 9 months old is plenty enough to be taught, right?
  20. Think you can mate, I've been with my mate and his 8 Yr old in lower rows of North stand and they have disappeared off into the GRFZ via the pitch side tunnel in NE corner. Whether they should or not is another matter.
  21. Born in stockton, was an army brat so Catterick, Germany and N Ireland until parents divorced when I was 10. Moved back to Stockton, joined Army myself at 17. Served all over, (loved our 6 years in N Ireland in particular) and finished my time in Pompey. Moved back to Teesside 2018 after kids all finished school. Actually wanted to support Liverpool when I was 7, dad was a Boro fan and put paid to that. Pulled the same trick with my boys when they were leaning toward Spurs ( lived in Hitchin at the time).
  22. Irrational or completely rational dislike of Manure. The usual reasons but mainly watching my colleagues in the Army, who at the start of the 90s supported Plymouth, Brizzle rovers etc all slowly become glory hunting ar**holes. Have a real soft spot for Stranraer Got stuck there one Jan waiting for a ferry back to NI, so went to watch them in a howling gale, drew 0-0, stinker of a game but still look out for their results.
  23. As part of operation London Bridge, all sporting events are postponed for the duration of the mourning (9 or 10 ) days I think. Might just be guidance IIRC
  24. Embarrassed to say I own one of these individuals. They do indeed move on to the real world and parenting.
