It really is crazy how differently people view football! I thought karankas football was far more entertaining to watch than pulis as we always had 2, 3, 4 players who could make something happen whereas with pulis we know how were going to get our goals 90% of the time. We also had the discussion a few weeks ago about direct vs patient play and I think it really depends on what you prefer to watch as to who's management style you prefer. Germany lost 2-1 away to France in the end. Germany are now on 1 point after three matches. (Same as Croatia). Holland have got to play Germany (A) and France (H (I think)). Fairly good chance that Germany could get relegated to Division B. Hopefully England can avoid that now, with the cracking win against Spain.

Yeah - Cheers mate. A top result that. I think I read that it's the first time Spain have lost at home in 15 years. That's not to be sniffed at. We just need to beat Croatia at home (won't be easy), and we'll keep Division A status. Having said that, we should absolutely have beaten Croatia away last Friday. Agree mate. We're having a great season, and the football hasn't been half as bad as people make out much of the time. Also the negativity on here is probably causing a lack of posts. Hardly an inspiring place to come for any occasional visitor. That said, as ETO mentioned... there's not been too much going on anyway. I was on here the other night while watching the England game, but no one was on here then.

I thought the game was tomorrow, gutted I missed it. We're playing away to Spain on Monday night Billy. Hopefully a much better game. We should have won last night though. Hit the woodwork two/three times, and the two chances that Rashford missed were ridiculous. (If your striker in a Sunday League team missed those you'd be disappointed).

OMG - I can't believe that Rashford didn't finish that. That was TOTAL garbage. And again.... two EASY chances to Rashford in five minutes. Two terrible misses. 0-0 Final score. What a completely awful game. I can't believe I wasted two hours watching that..... talking to myself on here. Utter garbage.

I like Flint, and I still think he's a good signing. However, he's underperforming on the goal scoring front. Having said that, isn't that a characteristic of pretty much every scoring player we ever sign!! I certainly can't think of many players who suddenly become prolific having joined?

I was asking a Villa mate at the weekend how they seem to have avoided FFP. He wasn't specific about this season... but I guess it's wrapped up in the sale of the club. However, he seemed to think that Villa could be in serious trouble if they DON'T get promoted this season.

Probably not, if anything Dunk’s inclusion offers hope to players at less fashionable clubs. Gibbo needs to play more, it makes no difference which team that’s for, as long as they are a top flight outfit. If he’s the player many think he is, he should be able to break into the Burnley side once his injury clears up. Personally think he’s overrated, have said so since the Prem season. I think his ceiling is mid-lower standard premier league player. Would love him to exceed that, of course. He certainly looked like more than a lower prem player last time he played in that league.

Big game on Friday (away to Croatia) 7:45pm. Would be great if we could sneak a win. With Lewis Dunk called up to the squad (I believe), I wonder if that crosses Ben Gibson's radar? I know Gibson is injured, but I also wonder if he's regretted moving to Burnley at all.

I'm pleased with the 3 points, but disappointed that we didn't do more to boost our GD while we had the opportunity. That doesn't mean that I want Pulis out, or that I'm a moron. Promotion is the aim this season and we have a manager and players who are capable of achieving it (and I wasn't saying this last Autumn). An improved goal difference would improve our chances of promotion. I fully expect West Brom to win their game in hand tomorrow night. That would put them top and Leeds second. If the season finished tomorrow then we would miss out on promotion on goal difference, like Br

But we do have him, so you're stop talking rubbish. Rubbish? He’s just highlighting what an important player he is. All successful teams need a solid keeper. To be fair to Erimus, he probably took that particular comment the wrong way, but there have been loads of negative comments tonight. We're winning 2-0, and yes, it could have been a load more, but we're doing OK. We've played side decent stuff... mixed in with some much less good stuff.
