Why is it embarrassing to hate another side? It's their antics they displayed last season that has caused this. Again, nobody begrudges (well I certainly don't) Watford and Norwich in the premier league. Numerous sets of supported from a LOT of other teams noticed diving and poor sportsmanship last season. Every player has his price, especially in their situation. It's there prerogative to sell or keep whoever they want. Ultimately they have to comply with FFP if they want to buy. Clearly they think that losing two strikers is not good for their club. Gestede being sold will have had a big impact on the process. We have no idea how things panned out behind the scenes. Whilst they clearly haven't covered themselves in glory many of the new fangled football club owners would have sold at the first hint of big money. So fair play to them for thinking about what's best for their club. Agreed

When you have a 20 goal a season striker in your side top 6 is always a possibility. Look at Ipswich for example. You cannot compare Ipswich and Blackburn. One is tightly run and finds gems on the cheap and gets the best out of average championship players and are very organised. They sell players on for very tody profit and have the option of putting that money back into their team. They also have Mick McCarthy who is perfectly capable of managing in the prem, nevermind the championship. The other, has owners that only understand money and business and not the game. Have got themselve

Wonder if we are still really after Rhodes since he was told that first bid was rejected. It's a little bit odd that a transfer saga lasting as long as this has been so quiet and neither party have confirmed negotiations are ongoing.
