  2. Flew over from Chicago and had a few days here to catch-up with family before a business trip in Serbia Was a total let down on boro front though. Pure disgusting football
  3. I have one good thing to say about the game today. Well done to the fans on the solidarity and getting behind Leadbitter.
  4. Thanks pal. 4500 miles, got to see family at least. Game was shocking. My thoughts as follows 1. Spence seemed off today. I think the two game rest actually may of backfired 2. We lacked real genuine quality in midfield and creativity. Surprised we only two subs used that he never put on Tav or Morrison 3. Really confused by the 4 strikers on the pitch. It was clear as day we lacked the creativity 4. Players seemed to really lack motivation. Not sure what or why 5. Harold reminded me of Bikey in a way. There are moments of brilliance and others where I am like wtf
  5. And I see why Clayton was sat in his car all by himself when we got here... Didn't look happy

  8. From whats been said: Gibbo wants to come back here. Watford interested but Gibbo isn't. So whilst they might agree with Burnley the player doesn't want too... Fingers crossed
  9. Anyone that doesn't think Gibbo would be a good signing for the Boro needs to get to specsavers. Him & Ayala fit alongside Spence and Coulson would be immense
  10. I personally heard that Shotten gets paid with the money found under Gibson's sofa each week and he takes it down to Yorkshire bank in plastic bags...

  13. Enough of Shotton or whoever else's wage packets. Let's get down to transfer news... If we want to discuss wages then let's create another thread... #utfb
  14. Unlucky not to win - but again i'd have taken a point
  15. I think dijksteele was the better of the three options and at times has done ok. He seemed better in midfield than at rb for us. I do think all three signings weren't given enough time but at same time it's also evident our upturn in form without them
  16. So shocked to see and hear all the negative critisms of Britt considering he's been our top goal scorer last few seasons. Yes he came with a high price tag and salary but that's the clubs fault and not his for paying it. When the chairman goes on radio and says we have funds to smash the league he was always going to be placed over a barallel. Wasn't very intelligent in my opinion The thing about Britt is he has consistently shown no matter where he players he will score goals, even in a tp team. Yes he can contribute more. But I ask boro fans to think of this. If Fletcher goes out injured. Do you feel comfortable with our current squad to end season. I don't. With the exception of Ruddy (who is made of glass). We've got kids that even at lower leagues haven't exactly set the league on 🔥. If we take him out and replace and strengthen area e.g. Billy Sharpe then sure
  17. A Watford v Tottenham. (Eriksen) A Q.P.R. v Leeds. H Birmingham v Cardiff. H Bristol Cty v Barnsley. A Derby v Hull. H Hudderfield v Brentford. H Millwall v Reading. H P.N.E. v Charlton. H Sheff Wed: v Blackburn. H Swansea v Wigan
  18. A Barnsley v Huddersfield. A Blackburn v P.N.E. A Charlton v W.B.A. A Hull v Fulham. H Leeds v Sheff Wed: A Luton v Birmingham. H Middlesbro v Derby. (Fletcher) A Reading v N/Forest. A Stoke v Millwall. A Wigan v Bristol Cty.
  19. I think I was bud... I put play offs and then edited it lol.
  20. 100% agree on this. In Woody we see a manager that was injured a lot during his career and also observed 1st hand rushing people has had knock on impacts e.g. Friend. I suspect he is taking his time on the players. Especially considering right now we have won 4 on the bounce. Why rush a player for one game and have him out for 10. As for the convienance of around Transfer Window. Its just purely speculation if this happened in October or February no one would be even wagging the tails thinking something more sinister is afoot. #utb
  21. I'd see the internal rumblings about Kenyon helping out in recruitment area has something to do with it alongside probably usage of an agent. I know gibson has never been a fan but I bet with kenyons contacts some deal has been struck and flood gates have opened my guess.
  22. I would of thought Clarke coming up is because of game at weekend... Just saying. I hope it's signing but
  23. Credit where credits due to the lads for posting this. I was one right behind Woody from start. I felt the club needed to be blamed for the bad start. Bad recruitment, lack of support and ambition in the market. Good to see Woody using Youth to back the team and glad that he hasn't make comprimises to his want to bring attacking and pressing football. Good to see a good start to January transfer market. My only caution is lets not get carried away lads. Of course we'd all want promotion - but this season is a transition one for us. Lets take it one game at a time. But whatever happens we need to behind manager and players. #UTB
  24. Good to see the kind of players we are being linked with. Young, pace, power and players that want to get team football. Would be interesting if we could get both Maddison and Roberts in that would give us pace on the wingers. A number 10 and support at the back and I think we could be challenging.
  25. So pleased for Woody and the lads. Many fans on his back and giving him stick - not deserved when the club had to answer for poor signings and lack of backing in the market. The academy has done us proud again and great to see and here from both Woody and players that the team spirit has been bouncing for months. Now is time for all the fans to get behind the lads for every single game and hope we do something special.
