  1. Total shambles I want to laugh cos that is the only thing that will stop me crying..
  2. Thats ok for Emnes and McDonald they won't have to change their game, has for the working harder... :D Don't make me laugh. Have a sasparella on me mate. :D
  3. Only if Bennet gives our strikers some pointers at half time cos he seems the only bugger that knows where the goal is. Has for Emnes he seems to have taken on a roaming position and is sometimes playing behind Robbo. So who's in the bloody forward position certainly not McDonald he's playing even deeper at times.
  4. Note every corner so far you can cover all Boro players in the box with a sixpence easy to mark and take out of the game. You are right they are woeful.
  5. Thommo walks bloody rediculas. Ref you are an ass.
  6. Bad defending bad keeping what do you expect.

    Darlo

Nice piece from Mogga in the Echo. Mowbray: The Darlo lads had it tougher than we did in 86 8:00am Saturday 21st January 2012 in HE is revered as the skipper that guided Middlesbrough through their darkest hour, but Tony Mowbray admits the trauma of liquidation in 1986 was nothing compared to the agony of what Darlington's players were forced to go through on Wednesday afternoon. Twenty-five years ago, Middlesbrough were 25 minutes away from being kicked out of the Football League before their current chairman, Steve Gibson, spearheaded a rescue consortium that oversaw their resurr
  8. First off hope your granma is ok Kayleigh. Looking forward to pitting my wits against Foggans should be an interesting round. Actually starting to get the feel for this predicting stuff. :D Right back to The Big Bang Theory.
  9. Yes we got a glimpse of that when he first arrived last season against The Lions . So far this season he has yet to make his mark. He has been slightly dissapointing. We await his skills, and so do the forwards. :D
  10. Latest news. Coventry are set to hand debuts to new signings Hermann Hreidarsson and Alex Nimely. Hreidarsson has this week arrived on a permanent deal from Portsmouth and is a welcome addition at left-back, where City have been struggling of late with Chris Hussey (ankle) and Richard Wood (groin) sidelined. Striker Nimely is also likely to get the nod up front for the goal-shy Sky Blues following his loan arrival from Manchester City. Fellow forward Freddy Eastwood, who only forced his way back into the reckoning in last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Derby, is a doubt with a calf problem. Defend
  11. God this has been a long week and still a day to go. I am hoping that Mogga has managed to get at least one keeper match fit that would be Coyne by all acounts being the lesser injury out of the two. Hopefully he has sorted out the midfielders and told them to get their hands out of their pockets and stop standing about. With Robbo back at least we may have some bugger out there to back up Mogga's orders from the side and give whoever needs it a kick up the arris. In the meantime one man don't make a team so I am also hoping that he plays McManus and moves Rhys forward to help out Robbo. Not
  12. I make you right there Linny. I listen to Ali and Higgy these days, now last season I would not believe much that was coming out of Gill's gob and we all know that Ali likes his job so he ain't gonna scream about the team, unless they are doing a fine job,cos Gibbo would probably get him the sack. In Higgy we now have a man that you can hear what is actually going on down on the pitch. When he says that players are hiding/walking about with their heads down/not performing and having to many touch's/not getting into spaces/virtually not creating and have no idea what to do. Then I
  13. Could'nt agree more with your actions DS. May I suggest that you now rename it "The Waffling Thread". I know if I was a mod I would have done the same thing..
  14. I don't think there could ever be any substitute for standing at a footy match. Having some cracking banter with yer mates being able to crowd together and sing yer hearts out or take the p1ss out of the bobbies and stewards has well has the opposition,no one was spared. What does seating do, 1/ it makes you freeze on a cold day, 2/ it makes you uncomfortable on a hot day, 3/ it individualises people, 4/ it takes away the atmosphere. Virtually it makes watching football bloody miserable. Perhaps that is one of the main reasons that crowds are dropping.
  15. Just read a report on Aston Villa wanting safe standing and wondered if more clubs will be backing them. Personally I feel each clubs fans should be given a chance to vote on this and the FA should listen to the fans. I would like to see safe standing returned to the terraces I believe there is more of a warmer atmosphere around these area's than in the seating. I reckon the only thing I would question about their idea is these "rail seats" not knowing exactly what they entail I would not like a seat that can be easily removed "which is what it sounds like" and put into rowdy fans hands to
  16. I think its called freedom of speech 2+2. He has a right to say how he feels just like anyone has a right to boo if they want. Perhaps he should have frazed it better or perhaps has we may find out the media added their little bit.Which often happens. I think we are all for players speaking to the fans the same has we want to hear from Mogga and Gibbo occasionally. What we hear sometimes possibly we don't like just the same has what Rhys is hearing he dose'nt like. This is nice to know and perhaps has a leader on the field he may want to do something about it.
  17. Well I listen to Ali and Higgy every match and the last 4 games I have booed at the computer screen.. Higgy tells it how he see's it players walking around the field with their heads down and no tactical movement to much hiding,no one taking responsibility. "Gotta be worth a couple of booo's at least" :D Must admit I did lol when we were 2 goals down away at Blackpool and Ali said the Boro fans were singing we are gonna beat you 3-2. You gotta go with the flow if some one wants to boo then so be it,after all like some have said they pay their brass and they have a right to their
  18. The sound and picture is to tinny. Now this is the one to make your back hair stand up. Note I think Gareth was on the bench and Brad Jones had dipped his gloves in cooking oil before the match.:D
  19. With you there Linny. I must admit to never being an admirer of Southgate the manager and this job he as now is has you say a yes mans job and to put forward juicy bits. The stuff he is saying is at least 10yrs behind the Italians/Spanish/Dutch and Brazilians. Infact he probably nicked all the ideas from their old manuals. It reads good now lets see in a few years time if it comes to fruition. In the meantime anyone remember this.
  20. I would not like to see any MFC players going out on loan, where we are still paying wages out to them.I would rather we kept the squad all together and possibly use them on the run up to the end of the season. Even Kink may come in handy,(I think).
  21. Well I feel let down by the pair, both players promise so much but give so little. I would be looking for a replacement for both if I was the manager. We all know that McMahon can hit a ball and pass a ball and defend pretty well. But apart from a little good early season form he has dropped off somewhat and hardly gets a mention these days. Hoyte on the other hand was never my first choice as right back .When Southgate purchased him I did believe him more of a DMR than a right back, but has we have all seen he hardly gives anything to the team. On occasions he looks like he could but 9 ou
  22. Would be a good idea to go back to Wolves this week and ask can we have Carl Ikeme on loan till the summer. We know what the guy can do. In his time at Boro we looked more solid at the back . I think his loan with Donny is finished, and I have'nt seen anything in the news about him being sold or on loan to anyone else. Add on. Has for the injuries every team goes through these stages so really its not worth digging players out because they always seem to pick up injuries.
