If Bausor goes to the States to try finalise a deal for Mark Wahlberg, that might reignite a bit of optimism for the coming season. Only just caught up .. So MVB hijacked, then. Thought he was more or less done but not surprised at all that last second another club has nudged us out the way. Was hoping to refresh the board to some good news but it's hardly surprising we've stumbled again, it seems. Frustrating as it is, we're a mid-table Championship club and been stuck here ages with no real chance of going up as it stands... That's what is worrying me re; how our plans are going for this current season with Warnock's final year. Could be awkawrd timing indeed.. It all gets you thinking right at this moment that's for sure. I'm not laying into the club or anything, I would just like to understand how things are being planned and that there's something in place ready for when NW goes, and he is happy with what he will be working with in his last season with us.

Glancing through today's posts ... the way we do business has been a *** clown show for far too long for a club at our level and the history we have. Starting to really boil my p1ss. For once, before this window opened, I had optimism we would finally get things done and start to move forward. Have a better team working in the background bringing in players, spotting talent we can afford and having that odd gem work out here and there .. I know it is complicated business, but good grief, we really seem embarrassing the way we operate behind the scenes with incomings and outgoings.

Haven't caught up in this thread today but happy to see the lad Olusanya in, he seems a bright kid and watching his interview, I have high hopes for the lad. I hope he has a right crack at it and is a success here. There's no doubt he's very talented but being realistic this is a massive step up and it is going to take some time for him to get in the side, as long as he does well on the training pitch and the punt pays off ..
