  1. Game day!..... I'm looking forward to this game now and with the Hull result think the mood will be lifted and hopefully get a good result. Come on Boro!
  2. For whatever reason it just hasn't happened enough for Downing, he has had flashes in games the wolves game and the MK game at home was heading for a stale mate until he pulled us out the mud. I don't think its a like of trying though some games he has been not involved at all but most games he is there trying but for some reason it just hasn't worked, little passes he tries got out or to the opposition and as the game goes on he gets more and more frustrated and that's not going to help him at all. I think he maybe thought this was going to be a bit easier than its turned out to be mayb
  3. Great result, Brummies did us and other teams around us a big favour! It seems no one can really get a grip on that top spot because it is there for the team who can now go on a good run to pull themselves away a bit with the way results keep going, but this is keeping it exciting at the same time! Let's make it count tomorrow and hopefully go on that run! UTB
  4. Sorry, I wasn't trying to misinterpret you just the way I read it came across as if they aren't good with the ball.
  5. We will not go up if we lose another 6 games no chance. Hull and Burnley probably won't even lose 6 games between them. The optimist in me thinks/wants you to be wrong at Christmas I didn't think we would lose 2 games on the bounce especially with one of them being Bristol city but it's a funny old league isn't it. The defeat to burnley in the fa cup seemed to start our slump and kick start there little run with regards to hull and burnley somethings got to give there's too many games left for them to keep going like this. 9 wins from the games we hav left would be super add a few draw
  6. To say Ayala and Gibson aren't ball playing defenders is a bit harsh the way we play doesn't really need them to be as has been said grant and clayts do most of the passing and try to get us going forward. I've seen Ayala over the last two seasons in games run a full half of the pitch with the ball to try get us going and Gibson has knocked some lovely balls forward but this is normally when the games not going our way and they must be taking it upon them selves to get something going. When we are as effective as Tuesday night we don't need the CB's to be as attacking mind. They both are obvio
  7. I don't know why watchdogs got so bad reviews or why so many people pan it I really enjoyed it it was my first game on the ps4 after not playing consoles for a while maybe that's why. The game play was good a bit repetitive but most games are these days the story was enjoyable I play games to enjoy them and this on I enjoyed was easy enough to jump into so I would recommend it. Batman Arkham knight was really good I heard the pic version failed completely but that was more to do with glitches and such more than the game itself again a bit repetitive and a bit to much reliant on the bat mobi
  8. I've been a massive fan of these games for years but missed the last two because I was becoming addicted. ive just got this one last night and going to start it soon. Hope it's as good as what I remember but don't want to get too addicted this time!
  9. Top 2 is very much still in our own hands and the next set of game all the way up to hull are very winnable we just have to perform and we should be fine. If I'm been totally honest this bad run didn't really knock my confidence in us finishing in the automatic places because I thought at some point we've got to hit a wall and I don't think our slip up was as bad as it could of been we're still in a fantastic position. I think we will win this weekend an another dominant performance will have the other teams more nervous about us.
  10. A draw here would be a great result sheff wed are more than capable of getting a result but hull just look like a well oiled machine at the minute. agaisnt every team in this division I believe it's us who dictates the result it depends what Boro turns up because I think our best team of 11 players is better than most other teams man to man but hull is the only team this doesn't apply too.
  11. Lots of games coming up thick and fast now, he will tinker and make some changes, he always does. It is a possibility, we don't know how George's fitness is and if he will be for to play, you have to take into consideration the amount of fixtures coming up too A yellow for leadbitter is a good thing Saturday too Agree with he Leadbitter bit, although I do think its a bit harsh he was much better against Cardiff, I'm not saying it to be negative towards him either I just think Clayton is better at the defensive job and Forshaw is better at the attacking, he is a good leader though.
  12. There's a third season? :o I loved the first 2! There's 5 altogether mate! I only found it by luck and thought I'll give this a little watch the cover looks good and I've been hooked, the next one is going to be the last season I believe. what the hell, seriously?! I could have sworn when I was watching it on Netflix there were only 2 series out cause I didn't want to stop watching! Super serious mate, I have all 5 on my hard drive now, im just onto the 4th episode of season 3 and it just keeps getting better!
  13. There's a third season? :o I loved the first 2! There's 5 altogether mate! I only found it by luck and thought I'll give this a little watch the cover looks good and I've been hooked, the next one is going to be the last season I believe.
  14. Brilliant result but as daft as this sounds and I said it yesterday the performance was so much more important. A draw wouldn't of ruined our chances there's still so many games to go and a sloppy 1-0 would of been a good result to stop the rot but this performance last night will give them players so much confindence now going into the next game they will believe if we play like that we can beat everyone and they will be buzzing. Forshaw was outstanding and he was my MOTM, just his all round play and what he brought to the team last night was fantastic. Fry was superb and a real gem for
  15. Was massively impressed with forshaw last night his performance last night is exactly what we have been crying out for in midfield he was the main individual last night in driving us forward from the first few minutes he was dinking balls over to Rhodes and gaston he was always running forward with the ball and the few times Cardiff tried to pin him back he was neat and tidy with the ball and quick to get it away. The way he changes direction with the ball is fantastic and he did not look out of his depth at all intact other players seemed to thrive off him, he wasn't the only one who preforme
  16. Very emotional night the tribute video was really fitting some brilliant moments he will always be remembered for, made it more real that we will never hear him again commentating live on the club he loved, although that's nothing compared to what his loved ones have lost. I don't know if any of his family attended last night or the games at all but I hope they can take a small comfort from knowing what he brought to everyone and how much he meant to people. It puts it into perspective that footballs only a game but the power it has to bring people from all walks of life together is amazing
  17. We have looked miles better when playing the "tougher teams" bar Hull even though a lot of them teams when coming to the riverside have still tried to sit back and make it difficult for us. What is the reason for us struggling so much against the "lesser" sides is it because we go down to there level or because we believe it should be an easier game? by the way love the OP it's made me feel a lot more confident now  :s
  18. I don't know if any ones mentioned this one I've scanned through a few of the pages and didn't see it mentioned but Hell On Wheels is one I stumbled across a few weeks back and I'm just starting the 3rd season now and its really good would recommend it to anyone who's interested in the cowboy/civil war period and even if you aint its still pretty good.
  19. We need a performance tonight a confident one similar to the Bolton/Derby games, if it's an edgy game and stays 0-0 the nerves will creep but I'm confident that tonight will be a good night we are still a good team one of the best in this division and in the first half of the season some of our preformances were as good as I've seen from any team. Cardiff from what I've seen of them this season are hot and cold and that's why there in the position they ar a few good results and a few bad ones. But I definitely think this game will go on which Boro turns up and what team he starts with, som
  20. The last of us is fantastic probably the best game I have ever played in terms of story and interaction. A few more I've enjoyed on the PS4 are Batman Arkham Knight, Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain and Watchdogs. I'm just in the middle of the first Uncharted after getting the Uncharted series as I was always x-box before I got a PS4 and never played them and it seems really good although it does seem a big game and with 3 to play before even playing the new one its gonna take a while to get through them!
  21. Well Hello! I've been "lurking" on this site for years now checking eagerly for transfer news and rushing on after games to see peoples thoughts/reactions and don't really know why before now I've never really joined in! Anyway 'Boro' born an bred lived here my whole 27 years! My first season going regular was the last at Ayresome park and although I don't remember too much of that season the Luton game sticks in my head as the day I always remember falling in love with the game and the club and from then on it's been a life style, one that I've been able to pass down to my daughter wh
