  1. I don't think Ramirez will be wanting to sign anything till after the Copa, I get the feeling he wants to put himself in the shop window abit before making his mind up! Fingers crossed though I have he same feeling about this but was hoping mabye that it could be already done he seemed to enjoy it here and gets on well with Stuani but I can see him wanting to have his options open. Mabye he fancies la liga and with Seville rumoured mabye he's waiting.
  2. Gibson also kept this club afloat after relegation with out his monthly input do you really think we would be a premier league club? We'd be lucky to still be a championship club. I totally agree the prices are too high season tickets could be £100 a year and it wouldn't really affect the club especially with the new revenue deal but the fact is that's the prices that the commercial people have decided I have no doubt they will have debated and looked at all possibilitys as Wilson has said they may have been forced to with the amount of tickets left. I feel for people especially the walk ups w
  3. There's some really good free agents kicking about this year as well remains to be seen if we could pull any of these off but it's nice to just be even linked with some of these players i hope we get Ramirez done pretty quickly though
  4. Away kit looks like a dark blue/violet colour with a light blue band, I was hoping for a white or mabye green away kit something different I haven't liked the blue away kits personally the one we had when Scott McDonald was here I couldn't stand. The home top looks like a training top from a few years ago but it's hard to tell it doesn't give much away
  5. I have 3 kids a house a car work 7 days a week more than not but following Boro is my main passion I don't do fishing golf or smoke go out drinking much so it's what I save my money up for. My wife wants holidays so aslong as she gets one a year she's happy. I wonder how many people complaining will smoke, drink go out every weekend spend there money on other things which is fair enough no one can tell anyone how to live or spend their money but that's why you prioritise if following Boro was your thing then there isn't a complaint. I feel for people who will miss out but your telling me then

  7. I haven't read the comments but I have a few points to make. 1. Would people rather us be still playing in the championship next season? I wouldn't and after 7 years in the wilderness it's a small price to pay especially to say a lot of people who are wanting season tickets now won't of been to many over the last 7 years so £200 over them 7 years you haven't been going isn't a lot of money at all. 2. There was an early bird chance for everyone and they even extended it. Fair enough I know not everyone could afford it at the time but there is also an option to finance: if watching boro w
  8. Just seeing Premier league football feels like a blessing, it's been so long that it really does feel like where not part of it anymore it's moved on and became a different beast since we were last there that I just can't wait for saturdays and watching MOTD again with actual interest will be good. There's another thread about the championship era but I must admit that it's not the same as being in the prem I've missed it I'm only starting to realise how much now that we're back seeing the news articles about us being in the prem again it feels like we're some sort of star who faded away and i
  9. GoT is superb, if you can keep up with it then it's really worth watching it has everything. TWD is really good aswell can be abit of a slog at times but with the comics so far ahead it's hard for them to know what to miss out and what not too, there's a lot to get through from where the comics are and the series is but I can see the next few season really working hard to go over as much as they can. Vikings is good if you like history then it is a good watch some really good characters on and it's getting better. Hell on wheels is another good one it sort of lost its way a little bit
  10. I can't see us bringing Cattermole back but Morrison probably will. Which I would say is the better bit of business. Sunderland fans have moaned about Cattermole for the best part of 2 years and say he only turns up in the last few games of the season.
  11. I thought the idea was scrapped after they announced it? No, they do exist, but they're not advertised. I know Rob Nichols from FMTTM has one, I was talking to him about it last year. It's a very specific limited ticket that the club sells, there can't be more than a handful of people who have them. This must be a special/selected members only thing, I've never heard anyone with these and I know a few people who have gone to nearly every away game. I know they tried to bring it out but it didn't work and also how would they know what to charge when it's the away team who sets the pri
  12. I hope that's a royal "we" as i personally rank 'whether or not boro have a local derby' as just about the lowest thing I care about in football; perhaps tied with joey barton's opinion. It's more a collective we, over all boro fans do look on with a bit of envy the best way I heard it described by a boro fan before was that we are the little brother of two older brothers. I think derby's are important to be fair a lot of clubs over the season won't win anything there's only so many trophies on offer so they are something to look forward too a little added bonus, you can't tell me that be

  14. He is only speaking the truth but he's already trying to wind us up and please his own fans, the derby they have with each other is obviously miles bigger then with us but both teams still see us as a derby. I've worked with plenty of Skunks and Mackems over the years and there all the same they know the best way to get at us in to insult the fact they don't see us as a derby. That's what you do to someone you don't like hit them somewhere it hurts. We are jealous of there derby we don't have any thing as close to it we are a club in a bit of no mans land. The older generation have this Yor
  15. Looks like a bad decision if there was a flick, interesting that sky haven't showed it much yet, what's more interesting is who actually pointed it out? Brighton players by the looks of it
  16. The thing is, and im not saying this is how it is, but last season we only really performed consistantly well against those teams around us at the top of the table and we played well against the majority of premier league opposition in the cups. I agree that having a plan b is certainly something that needs to be addressed, but on a level of taking points off those around us, i dont think we will do too badly. I'll be honest there's a lot of teams that I don't fear in that league teams who I think are not much better than what we've played in he championship I think there's a case some of
  17. It's hard to say what could happen to any of these teams none are look very stable with all the stuff going on behind the scenes Norwich are obviously the most stable out of the 3 and Newcastle probably have the best finiances but that doesn't gaurentee anything. It really is so hard in the championship now just look at Bolton, charlton, Blackburn, Fulham etc. Villa could well end up doing a Bolton their owner has no interest at all and wants out and that could be really bad for them but they could do a Blackburn have a real stab in the first season spend money on a big signing and then
  18. I think it's adidas who have a say when it's released, I read somewhere that a few teams have left kit makers because of been messed about and not having much say as the big boys. Chelsea have just paid 40mill to get out of their contract cos they not happy man Utd get more money than them.
  19. I'd love us to do a Watford and Bournemouth and comfortably finish with out worrying to much about relegation but it all depends on who we get what squad we have going in to the season. As much as people might not like it the team we have now isn't good enough there's been a lot of let offs this season that better teams would of punished us. That being said i think we don't need too many buys and don't need any super expensive individuals as I think we have a team here every one seems close and everyone works hard for each other we need to add to it. I think early on if we get one of the
  20. Really enjoyed the new episode of Peaky Blinders looks like it could be a good series!!
  21. Will miss how fast the games come by reading nothing news for a full week some times 9days can be a bit boring but its a small price to pay! Still buzzing really! I cant wait for Fifa next year see the Riverside in all its glory instead of Molton Road! Cant wait to see us on match of the day it's been too long and also soccer Saturday will be good when we play away games I cant get too be able to listen to them clowns talk about us for a minute or too at the least before kick off!
  22. I don't feel sorry for them at all and in fact its quite laughable that the punishment dished out is even worse. Really is sour grapes. Any real footballing fan would be able to admit that the tackle was a bad one whether he mean it or not and regardless of if he got the ball he fact is his studs where up and his other foot was off the ground really he lunged into Ramirez. Most pundits have said it was harsh but that's because he got a yellow out first and then the red. Not really gonna say any more on this subject as I think they are just trying to make excuses and damping what was a
  23. If I'm being totally honest I'd like a few teams that we could get a few points off early to get us going. The big away games obviously spring to mind West Ham would be special but the first team to go there is most likely going to get a mauling being a new ground and buzz around it. That's just me being boring I suppose also I would want sunderland away before having them at home because could be a crunch game near the end of the season and would rather them at home
  24. Sorry didn't meet everyone, by time I got in from work and got ready it was 11 so got to the ground and to the gates for about half 11 and tried to get in touch but then the burn needed the toilet so had to take her inside. I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did and I hope to see some of ya's next season when were going to old Trafford, Anfield, The Olympic stadium and more but not St Jame's obviously :P
