  1. Does anybody feel that trying a 442 with Downing left, Traore right and shake up the midfield dropping Grant and bringing in a combo of Christie/Howson to add a little attacking intent and pace while still being covered defensively...then Britt could have a strike partner and Goerge could stick to defending too. ........................................Randolph............................. Shotton.........Ayala..............................Gibson.......Friend.. ...............................Christie.......Howson................................ Traore................................
  2. Why would he leave Brighton? Dont think he would Borodane but the thread was who would you choose as boro manager and not who do you expect, its all ifs and buts, had this happened four weeks ago I would have been happy with Coleman...now Pearson and Pullis appear top of the list but both concern me but I hope that Gibson has learnt something from recent history and gets this appointment dead right.
  3. I am sure it would be pretty impossible but who I would like to see most would be Chris Houghton, he has premier league and promotion experience and has lived in this area too.
  4. ,...........Randolphe Christie...ayala..Gibson..Fabio Traore...Downing..Clayton..Braithwaite ........Bamford....Assombolanga Sit deep leaving Traore further up and Break quickly with, Downing,Traore,Assombolonga,Braithwaite and Bamford , let the rest defend.
  5. Well where to start, Assombolonga, he works his feet off every game but you have to feel for him because he has very little support around him, surely now is the time to partner him with Bamford for a good run of games. Howson and Clayton, not working together very well, one of them needs dropping so a new partnership can be formed. Traore, very poor today and I get why he was subbed but that said was todays performance in any way influenced by being subbed on tuesday night when he was arguably our best player. Dale Fry, really disappointed for Dale, he has done extremely well this season a
  6. Does anybody else think that this will mean that Downing will go to brum, I am leaning towards these two being linked. Not saying its a good thing but we will see.
  7. Should Assombolonga sign, then we still need a GK, CB, and a winger at very least, any more will depend on who leaves I would have thought Agreed. But for us to be this far along at this point is really impressive, frankly. Especially since getting attackers through the door is much harder than defenders. It'd be harsh if bamford gets dumped after the start he's had. He's probably not up to full speed either With jota Britt bamford braithwaite gestede no mater what happened we'd have at least £12 million pounds of forward on the bench no matter what happens we'll have

  9. I might be in the minority on this but I really don't fancy Snodgrass one little bit, two or three years ago maybe but he could be another who comes for a final pay day with little aspiration.
  10. I would love to see traore dropping into the hole Traore Bamford. Assombalonga Gestede Same teams as sheff United but replace Forshaw with traore, Clayton steps up a little to Help Out Howson.
  11. Sorry to burst your bubble but these two teams have to play each other so can't pick up three points each time leaving the door wide open for us to pip them at the post...assuming we get draws against both of course.
  12. I agree in part to that but if you really want to be able to win at home and then away two days later the more players for each position the better, as long as they are quality replacements.
  13. I am with you on this,Gaston didn't do himself any favours for the second half of the season but he is a quality player who generally gives a mix of defence and attack. Who knows what really went on but considering he played through the middle in the championship and then on the wing in the prem just maybe Ak broke a promise to him. Gaston at his best would be one of the best players in the championship for my money so I would personally like him to get another crack at it.
