  1. Well that was multi-ball, so we're not playing multi-ball anymore. Nothing to do with finances whatsoever.
  2. I agree. There are too many threads that go off topic and hover around the top of the page for weeks on end. vb are you listening? These old tired threads should be locked and allowed to die.
  3. I see the future as in a similar vein to when Stan Anderson was in charge, just not quite good enough to go up and always a player short of a decent team. I hope I'm wrong. :D
  4. Well it'll hardly be a Mido situation, he only signed a 2 year contract.
  5. I cannot believe 48% of people in that poll actually think that TLF deserves a statue. He's the least deserving out of that list to be even considered imo.
  6. The ruling bodies of football are a joke. They're quite prepared to take retro action for just about anything that can make money for them. However, as for dragging the game into the 21st century and bringing a 4th official in with a monitor to help the ref, well don't hold your breath.
  7. You're never happy unless you have the last word about everything, just give the bloke a chance and give it a rest ffs.
  8. Oh God! The CF and Prowler seal of disapproval. You two are so mean spirited about Flood it's unbelievable.
  9. I'm pleased to hear that it was just a rumour concerning Flood VB. From what little we saw of him he looked useful.
  10. That's a hypothetical argument and pointless. Who do you think you are anyway pasting a dictionary up ffs.
  11. I can actually buy and sell the likes of you savings wise, however, I certainly wouldn't be wittering them away on MFC.
  12. Even if I lived in the UK I wouldn't be able to go on a regular basis. The whole match day experience is far to expensive for anyone on a fixed income to attend on a frequent basis. The last match I went to was in 1999 and that cost me over 100 quid even then. The only way that it could be done would be for me to become a steward.

    The Squad.

You don't know Davies will accept Prowler. He's desperate to stay here and wants to be captain of the club.
  14. Good,I hope we put on a good show to wet the appetite for next season. It might attract a few back too.
  15. Well, we might as well *** against the wind as it ain't going to happen anytime soon. It's a control factor and governments like controlling people. We only have to look at the Riverside and this stupid after goal celebration music, it has nothing to do with atmosphere although the club will BS you that it's all part of the match-day experience and that the fans actually want it. The real purpose of this music is to quickly quell any over excitement and get the punters reseated as quickly as possible. There is no evidence that all seater stadiums are any safer than standing in emergency condi
  16. yeh but play digard and hell be injured then hes worth nothing It's a good point sgt and I totally agree. This team that Digard's loaned to, if they are aren't paying a decent proportion of his wage or won't then we might as well have the benefit of his services and if he gets injured so be it. There has been so much money wasted at this club anyway so get him in, it's not going to put us in receivership.
  17. The club have already stated that all players are for sale if the price is right, so if anyone offers silly money he'll be gone. A bit of a depressing thread to start off after a good win today. There's very little point in worrying about things you have no control over que sera and all that jazz.
  18. Well. the thing that strikes me about this thread is that nobody has mentioned the loyalty of Stewart Downing and it is with great credit that he re-signed with us enabling us to receive a huge transfer fee, unlike some of the incumbents that have recently left the club.
  19. This news is hardly a surprise and has been ongoing for quite some time. Carry on beating the club up though.
  20. The team is having another tough season so why are so why are you so surprised? I'll tell you what though, the amount of bleating on the match thread after Forest drew level and hindsight was brought to the fore is enough to make me feel sick, plus listening to that fool Brownlee. Through thick and thin is what being a Boro fan is all about.
  21. Well that's not quite right is it? JC inherited a very good squad and it was basically Stan Anderson's outfit whom by his own admission could not motivate the team any further and so resigned. And JC also made some appalling buys in his time too.
  22. remember the great trevor senior, ....well he was great for Reading! Yeah, and he got us promoted and a good bloke too.
  23. I abhor this after goal celebration music. It's just used as a method to quickly kill the atmosphere and reseat the fans as quickly as possible and quell any over excitement.
  24. You've lost me here, what's the Man In A Suitcase theme got to do with Pigbag being dropped in favour of The Power Game?
  25. I don't know why you feel so gloomy. Local lad, Boro fan, wants to be here and didn't want to leave in the first place. We can thank the boo boys a bit for that too. AT always give 100% which is a damn site more than many of the *** holes that have consistantly robbed this club blind. He has instantly slotted in as well.
