  1. Probably right only relatively young so long career ahead, but lets be honest hasn't been given a long enough run in the side to establish himself, good footballer in my opinion.
  2. Martin Keown knows his stuff said Bale was the best player in Europe, didn't know Messi had retired.
  3. Espinosa won't be first choice CB. It's going to take some doing breaking the Ayala Gibson partnership up. This is one of the things I was going over recently. Downing has and can play right as well as middle and left. If AK is going to still have his full backs virtually as wing backs then he could quite plausibly play Downing, Ramirez and fischer together. I really think downing is more suited to prem football and will be a better player for us this year, as much as I like Adomah and Dimi I believe Championship football is their limit and they need at least a prem level player competin
  4. I'd echo these comments. I also worry that since AK came in we don't score enough and don't come from behind. That's putting a lot of pressure on a back 7 with virtually no top level experience. As good as they are I'm not sure we can back off teams like we did last season once we took the lead. If the back unit transition into playing at the top then that will be encouraging as not many teams can actually defend. These are kind of my thoughts as the squad stands today. Long way to go until the window shuts. Hard to disagree with any of that.
  5. Probably the type of player that would suit us then, a battle hardened relegation type fighting defensive midfielder, with 97 yellow cards behind him bargain a £5mill. An AK type player long long hard season if that's our calibre of player. Correct. What are you expecting? A coast into the top 6? He isn't that good, what am I expecting, how about a defensive midfielder who can win a ball come out of defence with it and doesn't get a nose bleed when he goes over the half way line and can a ball forwards rather than 6yards sideways. Its all opinion I just don't rate him never have, w
  6. Its not laughable wanting to improve the squad which I don't think Cattermole does, and nobody's mentioned of doing a Leicester or finishing top 6, I would imagine nor did Watford or Bournemouth fans last season. If we're going down the Premiership experience route as an example would anyone be happy us signing Agbonholor and Richards from Villa over 500 Pl games between them, because I wouldn't

  9. Downing and Juninho had been good players before Cattermole has never really been any good in my opinion . Totally agree both above players a class above 2 classes in Junhino's case.
  10. You bought Digard was a good replacement? If not, then him leaving wasn't good business. I just don't rate him he doesn't offer anything more than what we've got.
  11. Lee Cattermole comes and we have De Sart where does that leave Leadbitter because I just don't see him wanting to be a bench warmer. 5 yellows last season 14 the season before that, very average player ,Morrison or Cattermole no contest for me, all about opinion I just don't rate Cattermole good business when he left.
  12. Best team I've seen so far are the Italians and this is supposedly one of there worst, and Spain were fairly comfortable but not much else to fear.
  13. I sure hope so, I do love a good pair of fancy boots I agree the fancier the boots the better, and a good hair style tops it off with a bit of a bright colour in, what's not to like.
  14. It's not just technique but composure, footballing intelligence and bravery. Then you want to put players into a system that suit them. You should then go into a tournament with tried and tested tactics and everyone knowing their role. A lot of it goes back to how we teach kids. It's mind boggling that the first thing we teach then is to kick the ball away. I agree but I can't remember the last time I watched England play and thought we look quality and exciting to watch it seems hard work not just with this team but past sides over the decades. The great players know when to
  15. Just to throw one in there ladies & gents if we had another coach or manager would it make a difference or are our players just not technically gifted enough.
  16. I like Kyle Walker but why he has to beat the same man 3 times before delivering a cross annoys me. Well into the next round before one of the decent sides in the competition put paid to us like always, still got the 1966 dvd on stand by for when we go out.
  17. To think he cost over 50 million. It makes the David Luiz transfer to PSG look like a masterstroke. Hope Chapman turns out OK and bursts onto the scene. He could be worth an absolute fortune if Stirling is anything to go by. Great business from Liverpool 50 mill dear me.
  18. You're right but some of those quality players shouldn't be their and that's on him. Spot on, Sterling is even worse than he was against Russia he couldn't go past a tree, and playing Kane against 3 CB's is madness, especially when Kane is playing crap.
  19. Hart wants locking up shocking keeping .
  20. Typical stubborn manager trying to prove everyone wrong.
  21. Yes he definitely hasn't picked Sterling on club form that's certain, Roy must have been watching Sterling's Liverpool dvd.
  22. Kane gets a chance he'll bury it this time, hopefully Bale will be defending for the majority of the game.
  23. Would have dropped Sterling, pace but his final ball is awful.
  24. This Mandi we're after, funny name for a guy.
