  1. Decent game that. 2-2, leaves it nicely in the balance. Will have to record Piggies v Brighton as i'm off out on a work leaving do, but hopefully playoffs will continue in this pattern.
  2. Burgess looks the better of the Pompey centre halves. Nice to see an ex Boro boy doing well.
  3. It's their away kit. Don't know if they choose it for every away game but I saw them play in purple earlier in the season - Notts County I think, who are black and white, so maybe they do have separate kits.
  4. Was it you that mentioned Rulli yesterday? Anyway, rumours (and i'm always reluctant to believe them as 90%+ are nonsense, but fun) say that Liverpool want him to replace Mignolet. Nah, didn't realise he had been mentioned Ah, well, would be decent, but how realistic? Was it you that mentioned Rulli yesterday? Anyway, rumours (and i'm always reluctant to believe them as 90%+ are nonsense, but fun) say that Liverpool want him to replace Mignolet. Mignolet! Too expensive for a very average keeper. I'd much rather take a punt on any other keeper. Never rated him as he see

  6. Good game so far isn't it?! Very good game. More goals in this. I've trouble with my eyes but i'm not having too many problems with the shirts tonight. Sometimes have to look at the shorts just to confirm though :D
  7. 2-1 Plymouth 19 mins - Matt again.
  8. Pompey manager Paul Cook sent off and Plymouth coach Paul Wooton sent off after Plymouth scorer Jamille Matt put his head into the back of a Pompey player's head (who went over like he'd been shot) 13th min This is tasty.
  9. Pompey `1-1 Plymouth inside 9 mins!
  10. Kaisuke Honda, Yuto Nagatomo, Hiroki Sakai, Maya Yoshida, Hitoshi Kiyotake, Shinji Okazaki, Koo Ja-Cheol... All decent players, but wether were interested is another matter. Barring Honda and Nagatomo I'm not convinced any would really do a job and/or get considerable game time. Yoshinori Muto was highly rated and turned down a move to Chelsea last year, then signed for Mainz as the replacement for Okazaki. Had a half decent season in the bundesliga, 18 starts 20 games and 7 goals. Decent talent that was linked to Manchester United in January but has had a couple of ligament injuries
  11. Mark Schwarzer has been in the squad (at some point) of the last two champions. Sign him up! I suspect people will think he is too old now and anyway he's said he's 99% certain to retire. Would make a decent goalkeeping coach i'd imagine.
  12. I think the predicted demise of Villa and Newcastle won't lead to anything other than the playoffs at least next season. Yes, both clubs need an overhaul, but they can attract players where others maybe can't. Norwich will do well too, but it will be a good league to watch next season. Hopefully Brighton will come up as it means Hull and Derby will both be there too next year just to make it tougher.
  13. I'll still be watching. Any English match on TV and i'll watch it, if i'm not working or out. Championship is a great league.
  14. I agree, thought Jordan ayew looked good for villa aswell also Perez at Newcastle and Redmond at Norwich. Unfortunately Ayew is the Ghanaian Terry and will sleep with his teammates WAG's. Not good for dressing room harmony.
  15. Nothing wrong with the odd relegated player. 12 months ago, Trippier, Austin and Ings were all relegated. I'm sure most of us will have a piece of them if they weren't injured!
  16. Da Silva turned down Sunderland in January didn't he? Sidibe looks a solid player and as you say, re-sale value.
  17. I didn't want Bezema anyway, I just don't rate him :) Plus he might find AK and Ollie's sex tape :-/
  18. My first thread, so be gentle ;) I noticed DownSouth started a thread about who people want on the opening day next season, but I thought, just for a little bit of fun now we know 19 of the teams next season, who do you have a hunch about getting on the first and last days of next season? If it's the playoff winners, just say.....playoff winners :shy: Closest wins a drink from me if we ever meet :P (only one winner, I can't afford any more :D ) I've a hunch for Palace at home on the opening weekend and Swansea at home on the last day.
  19. Probably been mentioned but with Conte coming into Chelsea, will Loftus-Cheek get a chance? We could nab a couple from them on loan - Loftus-Cheek and possibly Traore who looks a talent. Chelsea will buy some names i'd imagine.
  20. Haha this is brilliant. At least our new players have some sort of an idea about Boro's history. Barton can't even remember two seasons ago. I'm not on Twitter but if I was I would tweet him that video Here's Joey celebrating winning the playoffs... Is that a trophy I see??? Surely not!! If you can't have one for finishing second you can't for fourth! Ah, a good old Hypocrite Joey Hahahahahahahahaha! :D
  21. He may be free but how much is his zimmerframe? A bit more expensive than Woody's :D Talking of Norwich in other posts, Klose has appeared a couple of times in various teams of the week since he arrived. He wouldn't be the worst buy if came cheap and as an alternative to Ayala/Gibson.
  22. I remember when we played Norwich at Carrow Road and their was a bloke in the crowd busting a gasket at one of our players for taking time over a throw. I hope he's enjoying tonight. Bye bye Newcastle. Massive club indeed.
  23. Miroslav Klose is available on a free although he's about 63.
  24. 3-0 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA Massive Geordies with the biggest stadium in The Championship.
  25. I'm loving the comments below.
