  1. TSAMINA MINA, EY EY WAKA WAKA, EY EY, BORO BOYS ARE ON THE MARCH AND WE'VE GOT LATTE LATH
  2. Telling us what that is to be chanted to the tune of is superfluous and it is a travesty that it didn't take off.
  3. SEE THE LINE WHERE THE SKY MEETS THE SEA, IT CALLLLLSSSS MEEEEEE, NO ONE KNOWWWWWSSSSSSSS, HOW FAR IT GOESSSSSSSSS
  4. Goodness me, this chant has been about for ages, has it took us nearly 10 years to come up with "Boro weren't any good".
  5. @RichAcklam2404I hope you are proud of yourself, almost guaranteed we would have progressed tonight if Poch didn't know our starting line up.
  6. Precisely this, at the point in which you are receiving and passing on this info there is as much chance that an oppositions manager sees it and WhatsApps the squad to say "forget what we've worked on the last 3 days and double up on Isaiah Jones" than there is that he would rock up at an airport and Diego Forlan our all but done striker because 'Juninhoiscool' divulged his potential flight details.
  7. You're a brave man, It all kicked off on Saturday near Block 87 where I sit due to Rotherham fans in the corporate jumping up and down screaming when they scored. Stewards managed to remove them before 3 lads, one of which most have travelled across at least 2 blocks charged over wanting to lamp them!
  8. Then we have to trust the process and hope that finally recruitment are getting things right. That hypothetical is worst case scenario but in 4 months time Finn Azaz may be showing what he is about and Sammy Silvera who has the same amount of goals in the league as Rogers has hopefully furthered his development. I still think that when you consider when everyone is available, he is potentially a substitute, getting 10M for a sub in the Championship is very good going.
  9. Rogers has developed massively since the start of the season but that is largely down to the fact that he was painfully poor to begin with. Riley Mcgree has a goal every game and a half so far this season and had he been fit, Rogers would likely have got less minutes so that injury has been quite serendipitous. I don't think there is anything Rogers can do that Riley can't, so to get double figures for someone who I suspect most wouldn't have in our first 11 with a fully fit squad is incredible.
  10. Lads, how have we not noticed he's got his legs on back to front, we've got no chance.
  11. Only 381 tickets left to buy for home fans now providing the Boro website is correct.
  12. Stats are obviously important but we can debate the development of a Boro player quite easily without discussing based on recorded data, If you think Coburn isn't developing quick enough or at the right level to play for us currently that's absolutely fine, in the sense that he isn't a top player to fire you up the division then most will agree with you, but if the alternatives are loan someone elses player with more talent and ability currently and probably lose them again at the end of the season then let's look at the bigger picture. Use Morgan Rogers as an example, you don't need
  13. In VDB and Clarke we have the right balance for a centre back pairing, Clarke is the Vidic who challenges the first ball and is strong and aggressive, VDB is the Rio who has pace and the right positioning to clean up. Plus Clarke is left footed which is a bonus.
  14. Unsure on the current rules/laws to be honest man, Below taken from Wiki, therefore meaning it could have been written by Gary from Netherfields -
  15. Someone who knows someone who knows someone told me that he failed a drugs test within weeks of being here which has changed a lot with regards to his chances in the first team. Weird thing to make up but nothing surprises you nowadays.
  16. https://en.as.com/soccer/usmnt-striker-and-monterrey-target-brandon-vazquez-one-step-away-from-premier-league-switch-n/ If there is absolutely anything in The Telegraph who claim Brentford have lined him up to replace Toney then I think we can cross that one off. Also claimed that his club have rejected an offer of over $7M
  17. Greenwood would have managed to simultaneously leather it against the crossbar whilst two footing their centre back out of frustration for missing the chance.
  18. Didn't think I'd ever be saying this if you'd have asked in mid-September, but I'm hoping Rogers is finally coming good following this recent run in the side. He's either scored or assisted in 4 of his last 5 games and that would be 5 in 5 if it wasn't for a finger tip save from Mcgree's shot onto the post at Rotherham.
  19. That's true, Forss at 10 I'd be interested to see, To some extent I feel we actually suffer from having so many players that can play numerous positions. I've seen nothing from Greenwood to suggest he is an attacking midfielder or wide man/inside forward, his main two attributes are movement in and around the box and striking of a ball, I'd rather see him as one of the options as a 9 and we bring in this Gordon and another one behind the striker who is capable of creating something out of nothing or scoring out of nowhere. As much as our style usually means we have to put toget
  20. Hard to argue with the majority of this as it is bang on the money in terms of Jones' contribution, however, Jones had a one on one against Hull and against West Brom, both of which he missed. He had 3 clear unchallenged shots from around 15-18 yards against Rotherham which were painfully weak Obviously impossible to say whether we would have more points if we'd had Forss fit and played each of these games instead, but as you've said, he's a far better finisher and in my opinion would have took at least 3 of the last 6 chances I can remember Jones missing, he seems to get a few glari
  21. Are there any pubs in Boro showing games on the iFollow channels these days should I opt against watching it in the house?
