  1. I hope Warnock stays. He is just what we need at the moment. Experienced and knows how to get a tune out of limited resources and understands how to maximise the transfer market. I would be very hopeful of being competitive again next year if he stays.
  2. Had a great 2 seasons in a position that suited him and was an integral part of the best 2years we have had following the Boro in the last decade. Good luck and thanks for the memories
  3. Nothing less than a win will do tomorrow. I have faith in Warnock to prepare them properly ..sticking my neck on the line I’m going to go for a two nil win..
  4. I’m still fuming after Saturdays display of ineptitude.. I can not believe what a cretin we have for a manager.. he’s got to be the worst Incumbent in my life time .. he’s had the same preparation time as all the other managers and he somehow Managed to preside over a complete sh@tshow. How is he still in a job he is absolutely clueless?
  5. Words fail me in relation to this clown we have as “manager” this is totally inept.. what have we been doing in the last few weeks !!
  6. Woodgate should be sacked but we can’t afford to do it and Gibson will never admit his own gross ineptitude by sacking him anyway

I don’t post on here usually. More of a longtime lurker .. I much prefer to watch what goes on and enjoy decent sensible debate. However I have to say that what is going on currently and the running of the club since the Karanka hissy fit ,in the promotion season , has been and is absolutely woeful. the club is currently in the worst position in terms of Short and medium term prospects, league position, squad, aptitude and attitude ,that I can remember since the season we had to beat Newcastle to stay up, but , that said, even that team had a enough grit and ability to pull a r
  8. I watched videos of Rhodes and Ramierez last night. That pairing could be very special. Rhodes thrives on the sort of service Ramierez looked adept at providing. Couple that with downings ability and Stuani supporting at the back post area. We would look very threatening. I hope it all works out.
  9. I'm sure we can sort a deal pending him Passing a medical... Takes the pressure off a bit.
  10. If Nugent is a lone striker he won't get as many assists as he would in a 4-4-2 formation. His focus will be getting into positions to finish chances created. That said Stuani and him would be a great front 2 for this league. Hopefully AK is more flexible this year when we are at home and need to break teams down and goes away from his rigid 4-2-3-1 system.
  11. Time to move on from Rhodes. On a vfm basis. I'd rather have Hooper, his stats seem comparable and looks a quicker more mobile player.
  12. I hope that isn't true, I'm sure it wont be. Hes garbage. A lot of people would take Kenwyne Jones . Carlton Cole is a similar player and would give us the plan B option that we lacked last season. Kewnwyne Jones played a significant part in Bournemouths promotion run in, I dont see why Cole couldnt do the same for us. We could transition from our usual 4-2-3-1 if its not working to a 4-4-2 with pace down the wings and 2 reliable forwards very quickly. Looking at the signings being made and the potential outgoings.. It looks like in game flexibility is a key part of our stratagey this ye
  13. Being relativley new to these parts...... Which is 'that site" ?
  14. Ah ... Now I get it... :) I think Tomlins on his way ... Now is the peak time to cash in as his value will probably erode next season through less game time... Plus his performance v citeh is still fresh in the memory.. £5-6m should do it..
  15. AV is always a good read, I look forward to his match analysis and boro blog bits... and he keeps me up to speed on match action via Twitter faster than all the other internetty channels... That said .. I hope he's wrong and Bloy is right about Rickie Lambert..... Vive Le differance!
  16. Atyrau Kazakhstan .. Hence the "boroat" handle... No sightings of Rickie Lambert reported here yet.... I'll let you all know if I see him?
  17. long time lurker here.. Firstly thanks to all the contributors on here.. I follow from abroad and this forum has become my first call for sensible debate and info.. I think lambert would be an excellent signing ( far better pedigree than Murphy) similar to Derbys signing of Darren bent in many ways , but I think Lambert offers a greater contribution to the overall team ethic , hopefully we will get him. ( I work with a Derby fan and I am sick to the back teeth of this superiority complex they seem to have as a collective, they have become my pet hate of a club) On the @Bloy100 subject... T
  18. Long time lurker on the board. Just thought would jump in and say that this is shaping up to be an excellent transfer window for the club and has demonstrated a real intent to start moving forward again.
