  1. I'm telling you, Strachan is your man :P :P. Steve Gibson is just waiting a fortnight or so to see how our double header goes and if we lose either the friendly v Canada or qualifier v Slovenia then GS will be gone, I now see why you peeps said he ruined your club, he is doing the same to our national team :-/ :-/. You peeps don't want Agnew so, who is worse lol, him or GS?
  2. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/597184/Next-Middlesbrough-manager-odds-Aitor-Karanka-sportgalleries/amp. Ryan Giggs 14/1 as is Jimmy Floyd Hassrlbaink, Colin Cooper 17/1 and Martin Jol 20/1, Mike Phelan 13/1 and Gordon Strachan 16/1. Not many inspiring names there, Gordon Strachan the standout from a bad list lol.
  3. Can you please take Gordon Strachan back hahaha!!! The usual suspects that are out of work will be linked, guys like Alan Pardew, Claudio Ranieri, Roy Hodgson, Nigel Pearson. Brendan Rodgers is doing a good job up here with Celtic so he is a shout but imho, I can not see him leave Celtic. I just hope that whoever it is manages to keep them up.
  4. I think Jordan will be back in the Scotland squad for November because a certain Mr Strachan WILL NOT be, thank feck!! You guys were right, he is a DUD of a manager!!
  5. Don't know fully but we'd spent £17m-£20m before the signings of Chambers and Traore. We've then shipped out Reach and Adomah and a few loans. I've not seen what figures have been banded about. I'd imagine we were just about the smallest spenders in the league. 3rd lowest in the division I saw on Twitter. Hull and Stoke were lower. I thought I'd seen figures of 8mil for Adomah and 5mil for Reach. Not seen any figures for Traore. I hope we got him cheap. If we did we may not have spent more than 10mil in transfers. Wages are a whole different kettle of fish. There was no fee f
  6. Ah feck, knew it was some tiny team hahahaha, forgot he was at Southampton. When did he manage you guys, was it before or after his time at Celtic?
  7. Just out of interest, Strachan did get you to a cup final didn't he!? I really do not understand all the Strachan slaters, its same with Scotland fans, there were large sections of the support calling for his sacking after last campaign with blame for Georgia loss solely down to him in these fans minds. In my opinion, he needs this campaign because we are becoming a nation that want change after nearly EVERY failed campaign but who realistically could replace him, the Strachan slaters cannot name one but do say "someone foreign", yeah, like that is the answer!! I am not 100% pro Strac
  8. Well, Jordan Rhides is NOT in the Scotland team, our strikers are Griffiths, Chris Martin, S. Fletcher and Steve Naismith. By the way, I was being sarcastic when I said what I said regarding the "your lot" quote lol.
  9. "Your lot", poor choice of words ????. You would do well to sign a few Scots lol or appoint a Scottish gaffer, its about time the English leagues had more Scottish gaffers and players ?. Andrew Robertson a good young player as is John McGinn and Ollie Burke, future looking good for " us lot ", its also time to start making European championships and world cups, starting with 2018.
  10. I am really worried with what I have been reading from you guys regarding Jordan, from a Boro sake but mostly a Scottish worry too. What has happened to him since signing for you? We (Scotland) had high hopes for him but tbh, he isn't getting a start with you guys but he WILL no doubt get called up by Strachan tomorrow. Strachan usually starts with players that get regular starts at their club so it'll be Steven Fletcher up front for us with maybe Griffiths and McCormack coming off the bench so Jordan will be a squad player for both the Malta and Lithuania games coming up in a fortnig
  11. A shout for left back, that WHU were in for and he a Scot like me lol, Andrew Robertson. From what I have seen of him, mostly from our last qualifying campaign plus the play off final, he would be a fantastic signing. He is a solid left back that likes to bomb forward lots, like he did when he scpred against England the last time we played the Auld Enemy.
  12. Welcome to the forum, how rude of us! Not meaning to sound funny, but what brings you here? Do we have some link with Inverness Caledonian Thistle that I'm not aware of? Seems a bit of a random place to join, lol :) I am not aware of one no, and its fine, you don't sound funny or cheeky, I understand why you ask. To be frank, I started to follow Boro after the play off final a couple of seasons ago and was urging you to win the title last season. I follow most clubs that get promoted or ones with Scottish managers and that is because I like the underdogs. By the way, I am Scott
