  1. Glad we start with Ramirez, Grant and Traore with Negredo dropped. It was mentioned on here he was seen laughing with a Palace player last week after an awful effort.
  2. You can have a 1000 page dossier but if you have no effort or heart why read past the first page.
  3. Can someone explain the logic of a like for like striker swap when chasing the game?
  4. Hiddink until the end of the season through Kenyon unless Leicester make an inspired move first for him.
  5. Expected Palace to get a result this afternoon and push on for the rest of the season like all of the other teams around us. There was the argument that Traore has not contributed any goals or assists this season but he has been involved in the majority of our goals in one way or another and inspires confidence that we can create something. The decision to use this wing back system against one of the worst defences in the league instead of starting him is strange and would have sent a message to a backline short of confidence, I am sure Allardyce and Palace defenders would have been buoyed by
  6. Interesting line up. Wonder what Karanka's 80 page dossier says about Crystal Palace?
  7. Huge overeaction IMO. Jose Mourinho wearing a club training shirt during prese conference with "CR" initials was way OTT.
  8. Hopefully we dont buckle under pressure and concede a third, Oxford will go for it. Need to make changes quickly.
  9. 2-0 Boro. Sounds like a feast at The Riverside, not one but two goals.
  10. Would anyone take FA Cup winners over Survival?
  11. If we can sneak a goal in the first half with a few attempts have a feeling we can hold on and progress.
  12. Valdes was a coup given his stature in world football. Traore for long term investment return.
  13. Can see a few more matchday balls ending up in the River Tees when Guedioura has some space.
  14. De Roon is a really down to earth lad, seems like he could just be one of us in the stands. Says one of his favorite grounds in the Premier League is Goodison Park as it is a proper old fashioned English stadium. I was surprised with his recent comments about wanting to move up the ladder and one day play for Everton considering our current predicament https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2798147/martin-de-roon-faces-everton-hoping-to-impress-and-land-himself-a-move-to-goodison-park/ He is gradually improving this season but a long way to go. I have to say though 12m does not buy you
  15. It was directed towards the earlier posts in the thread but you may remember in this game the first goal was created by Adam Clayton with a mazy dribble down the left wing, second goal by Forshaw surging forward into the box to obtain the penalty (He also nearly scored from the 6 yard box after a Negredo knock down) and De Roon with the third goal after sprinting into the box for a tap in. All (3) DM's were involved in the goal which has not been typical from our goals scored this season.
  16. Aitor after our comprehensive 3-0 victory over Swansea: “I think we've won the game with our worst performance of the season,” he said. “Most of the time I am really pleased with the performances and not the result but today I am really pleased with the result but not with the performance.
  17. Leicester are the only Football League club to not score yet in 2017.
  18. We are too predictable for teams. Put 2 players always close to Traore and pile forward. Dont give away free kicks in the final third.
  19. The effort is there but no quality and a system that inspires no confidence.
  20. Only 3 other teams in the Football League have picked up less points in the last 7 games. Crewe, Coventry, Bristol City.
  21. Such a poor challenge, no need to make it in the box. Need to switch it up 75+ mins and go for an equaliser
