  1. Feeling hit and miss regarding transfers today when watching Football5. Hit - what might have been if Mitrovic continued to us however good job for us magic man Bamford has stepped up at the pivotal time when required and hopefully his goals continue. Miss - Jota just doesn’t impress me at Birmingham and inclined to think he would have been an under performer for us as well.
  2. Does anyone know when Sky are planning to announce which games have been picked for TV in April i.e. the Derby game. I read it was to be yesterday/today but haven't seen anything confirmed as yet.
  3. For anyone wanting more of a laugh... Sunderland’s reaction: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/traores-meltdown.1419906/page-11
  4. Because that was the argument he was trying to have?? Both have advantages in my opinion, getting the overall team shape, formation when attacking and defending/ watching players runs or overall work rate is massively easier to pick up on in person. Keeping an eye on an individual players performance, or quality can be easier on tv especially if watching it when getting home from the match where you might have been watching a different player or had a couple :)
  5. Why does it matter when he went? The problem was that the team didn’t seem to have any direction which we all agree on and that players weren’t developing ! Pulis becoming available and the recent decline of his scenrioty with the players was the driving factor of him being let go. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have any hate towards him like when I watch Stracen being a pundit on tv but I certainty don’t feel like we were moving in a positive direction! At least Strachan had the balls to say he'd screwed up and resigned instead of adamantly insisting everything was all fine afterwards!
  6. I agree I honestly think Clayton plays the role so much better and links up very well but I certainly wouldn’t go as far as saying Leadbitter is a bad dm... we a fortunate to have 2 very good players in that position who are jockeying for position when a lot of teams need the one. Leadbitter brings a great deal to this team and I for one wouldn’t want to see him play for a rival team therefore wouldn’t want to see him dropped from our squad neither.

  8. But he offers nothing but shouty shout on the pitch Shows how pathetic our scouting dept are if they can’t find a better player than leadbitter. I’m no scout but I saw someone better last week. Had a pointy cap on and kept shouting hear yee hear yee Yep that's why I don't fancy us to go up or even make the play offs, other teams have players in midfield who can change and influence a game and weigh in with goals, but 2 of our main midfielders( Leadbitter & Downing ) are players who looked like they would be out of the door before the season had started, we needed to move on. Wolv
  9. Howson MOM for me He doesn’t clatter into tackles but he seems to nick the ball a lot and at times today he was everywhere Over the years oh how I have seen friend strike them balls to only go sky high so today to see both friend score a ‘wonder’ goal and traore get off the mark with a very good composed goal makes this probably the best away London game I’ve been too in years!! Enjoyed it so much and we are really looking a strong solid unit under Pulis..... Personal goal is playoffs and currently I now feel we can give any team in this league a good game so come on Boro let’s make
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/42414049 They show up on here. Cheers
  11. Commentary keeps mentioning seeing in match highlights on the website but can’t find it? Anyone got link?
  12. Yer got it working... if using phone/tablet have to turn off private browsing from all that Christmas shopping ;)
  13. Lmao it's not even that Bournemouth want him, he told Sunderland he didn't want to play for them anymore. Sunderland fans saying he is off to Wolves.
  14. That could have been an FA/Premier League one though? I think the question was about whether we/clubs in general do their own testing? Yer you are right will probably be an FA/Prem random test and not a clubs. I wouldn’t have thought clubs test own players and the random tests from the leagues is probably seen as enough of a deterrent.
  15. I’m sure I can remember DeRoon missing the train home from a London game (possibly WHam) after being selected for a random drug test after the game??
  16. Just to add he was also wearing his training gear when we met him after the game and later left when the other players all came out in the suit. Strange as you would think if he was clear cut out the squad/leaving club would he not just arrive and leave in the suit as did the other players not involved like fry?
  17. I'll be disappointed to see Clayton go, still think he's got a role to play in our squad, thought he would have been right up Pulis's street, tough tackling always gives 100% and protects the back four, something not right, I wonder if he wants out. I am thinking deal was agreed whilst Monk was in charge if I’m honest. I too would think he is right up Pulis street as a player. Strange and sad to see him go! Not that most technically gifted but always gave 100%. That sums Clayton up, its a pity more gifted players in the squad didn't have the same heart and attitude that Clayton has.
  18. Bought corporate for Christmas and Clayton was the player to meet after the game... asked him why he isn’t playing and his reply was he is injured, but hopes to be back soon. Said he is working hard in training and ‘hopes’ to be on the field quickly. Think the fact he is in the player to meet on the hospitality speaks volumes that they surely can’t be looking to offload anytime soon.
  19. They don't have iFollow like a number of the biggest clubs; boro, villa, hull, sunderland and a few others. No, but they have their own service, similar to Wolves edit* Ok I've found it, think they might have some sort of VPN block on the checkout. If anyone gets it work, can you say how you did itand which vpn you use? Haven't had an issue with any other match this year. You got a link, I can't find it? I'm flying out on holiday tomorrow and was going to use iPad to stream, I guess that will work....
  20. I'm really surprised with the complete mixed response from today's game! I seen so many positives to take from today admittedly mainly from the first half, but enough to start gaining confidence especially after watching us against Wolves who overran us in midfield. Granted today was more about seeing individual qualities but the more we play together, the link up has to get better and these individual strengths will turn into a very good working team.
  21. My personnel opinion is that I'm really looking forward to seeing Braithwaite left, Britt middle and Bamford right with Fletcher, Gestede and Traore interchanging when the games are coming thick and fast.
  22. I know it's likely never to happen but anyone else feel that if Ramirez was to go, our team looks stronger going to a 442 rather than a 433. Britt/Bamford/Gesteda up top (2) with Braithwaite and Adoma wide and Howson/Clayton/DeRoon centre (2) Only need 1 more wide player which we are already looking at and the 2 young lads.
