I think he will have a similar effect as Watmore in that he might score 10 or 11 goals, but I doubt he would get through 20 again.

Unless Tav is going to sign an extension to his contract then, as others have said its this summer we need to sell him to achieve maximum returns. I do worry about who we would replace him with though, although technically we have got Mcgree who could cover him. In terms of our own depth we have CBM and that ladcwe picked up from Watford Conteh, no idea how far off either are from being ready for the first team though. Howson will also need cover too, as wecan't expect him to play every game now. Maybe Mcnair will step in there, if we bring a new LCB in.

I think by "nothing" he means he was no longer wanted by the club. Also the market value is ultimately dictated by how much a club is willing to pay for him, not by some imagined value. Like many of us would value Tavernier at £15m or more but his market value (value clubs would be willing to pay) could be less. That's why we see talk of Bournemouths supposed interest and offers of around £8-9m that's because his market value is quite probably closer to £10m than the £15m we would prefer. The Welsh squad has massively improved in the last few years to be honest. They have a decent back 5, that Ben Davies is immense, they are fairly reliant on Ramsey and Bale to some extent, although Bale is very much a passenger in most games but has the knack to pop up in the right areas when it matters.

I think they got the better player in Neco Williams to be honest. Can play both sides, full international, going to a world cup too.
