Ayling has done well so not against us signing him if salary is reasonable, Norton Cuffy loan to buy , Kesler Hayden loan to buy , Cody Drameh free , Danny McNamara free are all good options IMO .

Could see Hayden coming, we like doing business with villa don't we, also Leeds with Drameh even if he's on a free. Happy with either then Smith or ayling as competition.  Wonder who the striker was in Jan that we asked the club to cancel his loan, hopefully that deal is all but done. Can't wait for this season to finish, and we can all think 4-5 decent signings and we're Guna win the league.

"CLUBS QUEUE TO SNATCH SOCCEROOS UNDERSTUDY GLOVER FROM BORO

Gloveman Tom Glover is being chased by FC Copenhagen, Celtic, Rangers and Newcastle United after a breakout debut season at Middlesbrough.
Well positioned to be Mat Ryan’s heir apparent with the Socceroos, Glover, 26, has made 20 appearances in all competitions since moving from Melbourne City to the north east of England , following in the footsteps of fellow Aussie keepers Mark Schwarzer and Brad Jones at the Championship club."

"Having picked up the former Tottenham Hotspur junior on a free transfer, Boro - still an outside shout for the playoffs - might be tempted to cash in come the end of the season on a player contracted until 2026.

Danish high fliers Copenhagen are resigned to losing their number one gloveman Kamii Grabara in the off season and see Glover as the perfect replacement, whilst with Joe Hart on his farewell lap at Celtic Park, Glover is high on the Brendan Rodgers’ radar.

Rangers are also in the hunt for competition for Jack Butland.

It’s the same case up the road at Newcastle where coach Eddie Howe is looking to bolster his goalkeeping depth."

Got to cash in surely, never been totally convincing, ok as back up nothing more.  Sol to come back and hopefully push dieng for no.1 spot

The only way is up, at least.

We'll surely never have a home shirt as bad as this one again.

The away shirt is a thing of a beauty, so Errea can produce good tops if they try.

Yeah can't fault the away one be an iconic one in years to come I think. why the hell they just didn't use that template for the home is beyond me you never know they may well this year 🤞. think our season was doomed as soon as they realised that fooker.

I'd love it if they just put a load of random, bingo-like add-ons into sales.

    - Throw in taken in the 74th minute =£0.5m

    - Wears pink boots = £0.2m

    - Overhead kick goal = £1m

    - Good effort at an overhead kick = £0.1m

A chest pass =0.25m love a good chest pass me

I'm really surprised so many people seem happy to ditch our Lion in favour of the one shown in that design.

I just assumed it was the current one, looks near enough.

this pritty much nails it, don't need to go reiventing the wheel with it or but a modern twist .  Shape, colours, perfect.  Club and town Identity and history involved and looks dancing in my opinion.  Ships or the transporter happy with either.

1.5m is quite cheap in terms of how much you can pay for players even in this league, he's on about 10k a week which is bang average, its if he goes up it at least doubles.

in terms of value for 1.5m with the potential he has then the price is pretty decent to be fair. not that I would defs buy him but if leeds dont go up and he for sale I've no doubt someone else will bite on him and I get the feeling that he might be one that just clicks in a year or two

I don't see a great deal of potential if I'm being honest, not one part of his game stands out.

  8. Don't get why greenwood is even up for debate.  Hes not quick, never takes a man on, chooses the wrong option time and time again, technically not the best, goes missing in games. Probably on a decent wage and 1.5 million is not that cheap really.  He had a great game against Sunderland and scored a worldie against leister that is all.  Even off the bench with ten minutes to go and we need a goal with the current squad he's doesn't get on.

What you have all been waiting for ladies and gents….

The list of potential (and realistic) midfield targets for us this coming summer.

    1. Ardon Jashari (Luzern)

    2. Lewis O’Brien (Forest)

    3. Alan Browne (Preston out of contract)

    4. Oliver Skipp (Spurs Loan)

    5. Hamza Choudhry (Leicester)

    6.  Baptiste (Brentford out of contract)

    7. Alex Mowatt (WBA out of contract)

    8. Tim Iroegbunnam (Villa)

    9. Tommy Doyle - (19 appearances for Wolves but only 4 have been starts)

    10. Cameron Branagan (Oxford Utd)

    11. Oliver Rathbone (Rotherham)

    12. Luca Connell (Barnsley)

I like it, skipp would be insane. But I'd settle for choudhry.  Branagan has been linked before has he not.

    1. Tom Cannon - Loan

    2. Ross Stewart - Loan as he had two long term injuries

    3. Joel Piroe - Permanent

    4. Cameron Archer - In any form

    5. Ben Breroton Diaz - If Villarreal deem him surplus

    6. Jay Stansfield - Permanent. To allow Coburn a season on loan

    Could see Stansfield happening.

I'm hoping that with more flexibility in the FFP budget we might be able to get a higher grade of prospect. Add to that a couple of freebies within our pay scale and no real wholesale changes we should be good to go, again.

I'm sure Rav's development is being watched by his peers in Holland and may well work in our favour getting a few prospects in.

@Mr_Maz what can you tell us about

Just listened to the press conference there and he confirmed that Dieng is fully fit and he just thinks Glover has been playing well enough to keep the shirt, which is annoying.

That cant be right, hes made at least one mistake in every game hes played with us droppjng points.  Dieng is better in every aspect, its about time we just started playing our best players in there best positions, get a run going and see what happens, at least get a bit of momentum going into next season.

                     Dieng

    Ayling....VDB....Clark.....Engel

               Barlaser...Obrian

    Silvera............Azaz...........Mcgee

                        Forrse

Not a bad team even with the injuries.

Our group of cbs are good enough for any team in this league, I’d say they’re an even better group than what we had when we went up.

Agreed there fine, it's the *** poor midfield needs massive improvement offers very little defensively and just gets ran through time and time again
