  1. 100% but we're at the stage where we really need some points so I'm not complaining. And you never know, big win tonight even under lucky circumstances might just break this slump.
  2. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Result was never in doubt tonight, shame on the disbelievers 😤
  3. Setting up this way relies on two things... Being hard to break down and not giving away easy goals. Having a threat when we do win the ball back. Done neither.
  4. Remember last season when QPR were in the play offs then lost about 20 games in a row. That's going to be us at this rate. Except there's no point deducted Reading or Wigan this year.
  5. Concerning that this is our attempt at tightening up and staying solid 😂
  6. Is there a formation where you can play no full backs?
  7. At least he's accepted the last few games have been awful and changed something. I think fans would be far more accepting of a draw/loss tonight if we see shoots of promise from a new setup.
  8. Thomas was cheap and available to cover Bangura's injury, simple as that. Deal seemed fine at the time. Don't think anyone expected him to be so poor tbh.
  9. Happy with that team bar Ayling, but Dijksteel brings different issues I guess. Do we reckon 352?
  10. Amongst the doom and gloom surrounding Boro, I didn't realise quite how many teams were in a similar boat - yourselves included. Nine points separating Sunderland in 10th to Sheffield Wednesday in 23rd. Rotherham are gone but any team from 10th and below who suffers a big loss in form could be in serious trouble for the other two relegation spots
  11. Pretty much mate. I think if you gave Carrick much better players then he could make the current tactics work. Like if we had two unflappable centre mids who never lost the ball under a press, everything would be a lot easier. But he needs to get pragmatic and figure out how to use the players we do have. We're not signing Rice and Odegaard anytime soon, so the players we've got need more help from the coaching staff. Give them a gameplan they can actually execute and a consistent line up so they can build chemistry. As we know they can be disciplined and follow a game plan, we just
  12. Movement, speed of thought, and positional awareness are the key to a possession-based team being able to break sides down. I was watching Arsenal the other night and the speed and accuracy of their passing was unreal. The ball was constantly moving, nobody ever stood still and looked around for a team mate. It's all just effortless and instinctive, you never see a hopeless knock into the channel or a player stood on the ball thinking "what now?" Sheff Utd were in a deep 11-man block but they weren't given a second to breathe or set themselves. The Arsenal centre halves were almost at the
  13. Four of the bottom five losing. We 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 staying 👏🏻 up 👏🏻
  14. We get dismantled down here mate, at least they're making some money doing it 😅 Never know what we could have done. Everyone predicted Luton to break Derbys record and they might actually stay up.
  15. Because Ayling is even worse. I've at least seen Dijksteel play well, admittedly not often in recent times mind.
  16. Hey - extra tenner in our pockets we can put towards seeing Boro get slapped every week 😍
  17. Not saying I think we'll win, but won't be surprised if we look better against a team who want to dominate and take the game to us. Whatever Carrick says to the cameras, he's not dumb and he knows we're playing sh*t and he's under pressure to sort it. Leicester tactics for me, we can't afford another thumping. More bodies centrally, drop the two dogsh*t loanee fullbacks, and get Azaz close to Lath up top to counter. Dieng McNair - VDB- Clarke Dijksteel - O'Brien - Barlaser - McGree - Engel A
