  1. What a lot of positive comments. Such a refreshing change to wake up to. Have we turned the corner? Or is it a blip? Sounds like we are way better playing attacking football. Maybe we should try it again sometime. :cheese: A good result against Leeds would set us up very nicely for the run in.
  2. But why sell Miller? Surely he was worth keeping for a little longer. It all feels a bit strange. probably didn't fancy him and sold him before we have to pay any additional fees, plus we have Walker, Armstrong and another good forward in the u23's who we prefer? Or we're just grabbing what we can when we can... :s Another depressing window goes by.
  3. Exactly.... So let's have a poll.... Pretty football? Or Promotion at any expence? Face facts,, We are not a Wolves or a Leeds. Yes your right we're not a Wolves or Leeds, wouldn't want pretty football and promotion god forbid what next. Not saying that's not what we want.... Just stating the obvious. We have what we have.. And Pulis will be here until the end of the season. Regardless. I want promotion. Whether this is the team Pulis inherited or built is by the by. There's some way to go in this race and we are still in touch. I just want the Boro to win. And the table shows that, as miserable as it may be to watch, the guy is pulling it off. But again I will emphasize.. I can't get to the games anymore. So don't have to suffer like those that do... (Though I have been there and done that), :)
  4. Exactly.... So let's have a poll.... Pretty football? Or Promotion at any expence? Face facts,, We are not a Wolves or a Leeds. Framing that matters a lot - how about phrasing it as... A) Attempt to lay down a football philosophy at the club that saves money, brings in more young players and plays football that gets the fans off their seats OR B) Play effective but highly defensive football, that results in dull games but enough points for a playoff position, where we might play a team that actually plays attacking football and beats us comfortably over two legs .... actually we tried option B last year... But maybe this time we would win... :cheese:

  6. Totally on the fence about Pulis. I dont have the opportunity to go to games anymore. So for me it's about results. From the sound of it the games are dire to watch... But if he gets us promotion (Which is what he is employed for) I'm all for him. ***nal were once unbeatable... But were taunted as Boring Boring ***nal.... I guess it's all just a matter of perspective. But as fans we should not let it divide us to the degree of getting personal with our comments. just agree to disagree. Up the Boro.
  7. That definitely can't be right. They won't have even played 18 games this season at home and they have lost at least one this season, well two now of course. Birmingham have lost only one of their past 18 home Championship matches (W9 D8). Ahem..... From the BBC match facts, :)
  8. So not a lot of change at the top of the league. But a valuable 3 points keeps us well in touch.
