  1. I think Wing and Tav are both able to play wide of Hugill So Howson for Ayala allows us to go back to a familiar formation. Then we have one sub left if needed if nowhere on 60 mins. I think then I'd go for Fletcher for Hugill to try and stretch them with pace
  2. Need some half time changes.. go back to 4 at the back. Get in the game - an early 2nd half goal and who knows Ayala for Howson for me
  3. I'd go for a 2-0 Boro.. Hugill and Flint both from set play ?
  4. Interesting line up.. wing maybe with licence to roam. A chance to rest a few too. See how it goes
  5. Last home game of the season sounds good - I work matches, but depending on how it works then I will make an appearance. How about we think about getting behind a common cause again - I think something like shirt sponsorship is out of our reach - but maybe a fundraising effort for MFC Foundation??
  6. I post less for various reasons.. Firstly, I live on Teesside and am at every home game. This was not the case for many reasons, largely living 300 miles away from the Riverside. This a***st other ways, was my connection to the club and what was going on. I like Oslo Syd am part of the 606 gang, a fair few of us migrated here when that closed.. with us we brought things like the predictions league. Things back then we're great, to the point where for 3 season in a row we organised and raised money to sponsor a player's shirt - I still have Adam Reachs shirt hung in my spare room.

    Boro TV

Loving the Athletico Mince commentary idea! Genius, I had the pleasure of spending some time in the company of Andy recently and he is a nice chap! Interviews and features is on the list. Stealing ideas from other clubs is always good - and places like Soccer AM and other football show. Keep the ideas coming

    Boro TV

IF Boro TV was to return... Not that Boro Fan TV stuff, but TV content made for/by MFC, what would you like to see featured on it?
  9. Sounds like an awesome trip, I agree with the traffic in York, it can be fun! Hopefully we see you back at the Riverside soon - maybe you can bring some a larger invasion party next time ?
  10. Sadly I have to be at the ground for my job there.. but had the pleasure of meeting Sonni and his girlfriend at the game last night, when the popped to see me at half time and full time Have fun and have a pint for me
  11. The Gazette have been at all home games and press conferences this season - only 2 in the press box and that is the agreement rather than more than 2 in previous seasons when they have been there.
  12. Come say hi for the Bolton Game as you are in West 76 - That is just infront of the press box.. I sit in the front row of that as close to the half way line before you get to the old camera gantry :) its a great view from there - really can see the whole game Enjoy your trip... I'd stop off at Alnwick Castle on the way down from Edinburgh, beautiful place and even more interesting if either of you have any interest in Harry Potter. High Force is pretty impressive too - further inland up the river Tees I love visiting Durham, York and Newcastle but certainly take in some of Bo
  13. Should only be supporters watching from overseas today too - so that should reduce some of the strain. Though of course there will be plenty using VPN's instead in the UK too.
  14. Which address are you using? There is a .com version that I used to have issues logging in with
  15. I wasnt making excuses.. just passing on info. The club realised there were errors and are/have been working to ensure it doesn't happen in the future. I know there is plenty of effort and resource going into the service
  16. The website issues were apparently caused by a 3rd party dealing with GDPR stuff (connected with login) so not directly the clubs fault (for the Sheff Utd game) The issues for the Millwall game, were a perfect storm of a few things: Demand on the website much higher than expected, increased by people trying to reload pages to get the stream to work Issues with iFollow’s central location where all of the iFollow stuff is streamed through (the source provided to Boro), many teams were effected Other expected teething issues that have now been identified and hopefully rectified now. Th
  17. Gazette in the press area of the Riverside - it appears that they have made up properly! Both Phil Tallentire and Anthony Vickers in attendance! Liking the side - interesting to see the balance in the middle three with Wing in there.
  18. Can't we have both... The feeling of the whole nation coming together and getting behind the team, like at this world cup is hard to beat. You don't really get that with a cup run. You do for a promotion or decent league performance. I think that lives longer in the mind and means more in a way... The feeling was greater during the promotion and play off final run than I can ever remember for club football, 90, 96 and now 2018 for international Though 04 and 06 will also be hard to beat... Oh I don't blooming know!! Can't pick!! ?
  19. I'd like to see us try and sign Besic, after a full preseason and the benefits of a half season with us I think we will see the best of him. I think Gestede will stay, as will Bamford. If we got into next season with those 2 plus Britt we will need one more to play in behind them to create. Play downing more centrally alongside 2 of Clayton, Howson and Besic (or similar if a deal can't be done) New right back, left back and center back required (assuming Gibson leaves) Two new flankers/wide players
  20. I feel that Besic ran out of steam. He's not had a run of games like the one he's just had for 3/4 years. It takes its toll. He's an all action never stop running type player. The last 2/3 games he looks like he's dropped a level, I suspect mostly energy levels.
  21. I'm almost certain that TP will be here next season and for that I'm happy. We had half a season that reminded me of the disappointment of the GS2 Scottish experiment. So much hope at the start of the season, good signings on paper... Soon turning into disjointed and uninspiring performances. TP has come in, organised and improved the team and has raised expectations once again. If we'd stuck with Monk we'd have finished outside of the playoffs and the season would have been a major disappointment. However we made the playoffs and now the disappointment is from being knocked out again
  22. But that formula didnt work on Saturday..So why stick to it, with the forced exception of Fry Because we didn't get played off the park. One set piece undid us. We created some decent chances. I said I don't agree, but understand the logic
  23. Not the team is have picked, but it's based on the formula that got us where we are. Here's hoping we can work a bit more space for us to work in.
