We have controlled the game against plenty of teams this season much higher than Rotherham, and I think the second half today was about running on empty. We were certainly good enough in the first half. The squad does lack quality, and of course ideally we will get a few in. Just believe we are most short in the striker area and that should be the priority. The issue we have is getting someone in is going to be tough.

I think that was today, and yeah both were poor. But we did control the game against Rotherham and couldn't hit a barn door. You put Archer into this team and we make play offs I think. I realise getting someone like Archer again is a long shot.

I think we do create enough quality chances. We just don't put them away. A striker is the priority for me. Coburn and Latte Lath aren't getting us in the play offs - and I think both have a future at the club.

We need a good championship striker. Coburn is promising but should be back up. Latte Lath is raw but needs time. Unfortunately I just can't see anyone who is available or would come.

Tank was empty second half. Thought Rogers was outstanding and Greenwood was worryingly absent. I can't work out if Barlaser is good or useless. Hackney, Crooks, Latte Lath all back in training I think Carrick just said. They will make us much stronger.

Bet Hull can't believe their luck. We just gave it to them. We have a distinct lack of quality in the forward areas.

Barlaser I'm sorry but it shouldn't be that hard to clear your lines. He did the same at Leeds.

We probably are playing better now than at start of season The issue we have we haven't beaten the likes of Huddersfield and Sheff Wed and now have some tougher games.

Carrick's management - Keeping Silvera on was an eye opener.

Sheff Wed are awful.

I agree mate, squad is better than bottom. But recruitment has not helped him at all. I'm all for long term building but sensibly. Don't put our championship status at risk.

That's opinion. Club believed we could buy young inexperienced players with potential and probably consolidate for a year. It looks like we may be in a relegation battle - that was not in the plan. Whoever is behind the choice of players has gambled and is so far losing.

Got to imagine it will take a lot for them to sack Carrick but Gibson will be getting tetchy.

It seems like recruitment have got it totally wrong this summer. Yes, it was about building for the long term but a relegation battle after finishing 4th? That's just bad recruitment. Serious questions have to be asked of them.

Dropped all 3 of Jones, Rogers and Silvera and still McGree can't get in - don't understand that. Looks a more solid team though.
