  1. I am fairly relaxed that we are still interviewing candidates and haven’t rushed into an appointment. Some of the flack aimed at Scott is nothing more than opinion. I take the view that we know less than 1% of what is probably going on behind the scenes, so we are nowhere near panic stations getting. As for the new manager , whether that be carrick, corberan or any of the other dozen they have supposedly interviewed so far I am not fussed who it is , but it must be someone who fits the job criteria to the full i.e work with Scott and accept the players we have/get
  2. Not saying we should , just surprised he isn’t even in the betting
  3. Some of this stuff/ rumour about Wilder makes me dislike him even more ., and I have long said he should go. As for a replacement I am not against the appointment of Leo in the short term but not so much full time. That said if he can impart even a small part of his passion for the club it could work i too liked the lad who was Huddersfield last year but think ultimately it is about a manager who can manage the players we have and totally buys into our recruitment strategy , something Wilder paid lip service to but undermined at every opportunity I also like what Robins did l
  4. No way would that of been the team under Wilder - lenihan not playing , Clarke dropped, Hackney playing, McGree not playing . I also think that we would have drew or lost with Wilder here as he had drained the squad of all confidence. It is interesting to see the silence on Twitter from the players to him As we know most of the championship can beat each other on any given day and it is often confidence rather than pure ability that makes the difference. Leo gave the team it , Wilder drained it.
  5. Agree - the lady has been named and various poor taste comments made. I am all for people having a pop at the manager / players for on field stuff but there has to be a line surely
  6. If he had applied for it but doesn’t get it then surely he is gone regardless!
  7. Hope you are right but all I get from Wilder is that we are lucky to have him. I guess time will tell but will personally be surprised if he is still here by the World Cup
  8. Are we really saying that a solid point at home against Rotherham is enough for Wilder to keep his job on the back of a home defeat to Cardiff who are so bad they have now sacked their manager. This is at very worst a top 8 squad I would love to be proven wrong but he has lost my support
  9. I can just see someone talking about xG to Cloughie or Charlton - they would have been thrown out of the building! tried not to post last night as wanted to reflect calmly on the dross that was served up last night. Woke up this morning and feel the same ... Wilder is a not the man for the job and needs to go. The season is slipping away in an alarming fashion and so will the crowds. Gibson will have to act soon if we have any hope of doing a Forest. Unfortunately, now that the best man for the job is in gainful employment 30 miles away , I don’t have a name to replace him but I
  10. Typical Boro that the best man for the job is working 30 miles up the road and keeping His team around the play-offs just as he did with his previous team on limited resources.
  11. Dreadful- I don’t see how Wilder stays in a job after that Zero quality
  12. Well that was a hard watch Watmore again showed why he isn’t a forward - headless chicken Crooks - slower than me Clarke - I get the idea of having a left footed lcb but it would be a)good if he could use it and b) nice if his right wasn’t just for standing on second half can only get better can’t it??
  13. I am going to be consistent so, yes he goes As for a replacement I remain convinced Mogga would have been ideal . In the absence of my preferred choice it depends on what Gibbo sees as achievable this year . If he thinks we can get anywhere near the top 6 then he has to go big - A Bielsa or Tuchel type . Neither would come but I think it has to be a proven man or maybe even that Wiegman woman from the women’s game. Seriously though we need someone who can motivate and manage footballers - Wilder has never struck me as that man
  14. After match now n Borolive - usual stuff from him but as usual given an easy ride - this isn’t a one off for heavens sake We we’re utterly toothless until the goals went in and to say we could have won is disingenuous. If Cardiff had gone 5 up at half time it wouldn’t have flattered them Were is the acceptance that he keeps picking the wrong team - McNair over Djiksteel / McGree as a 10 with the defence lumping balls to Muniz against bloody Cardiff/ Mowatt doing what?? Where is the acceptance that this is in any way his fault - He is the Manager
  15. This is going to get messy if he is blaming the fans for high expectations. Beginning of the end starts here
  16. There’s a quote from Vickers saying Wilder thinks we should have won it second half. If true the man wants sectioning!
  17. no post match interview on Borolive yet - Maybe he’s chucked it in?
  18. Never pretended to like Wilder as I think he is a fraud living off his success at Sheffield. He will bs this one as well but anything other than a good win against Rotherham should see him gone. As for the team let’s bench Mowatt , Clarke and McNair let’s never play McGree as a 10 again
  19. Worst performance I have seen in many a year - Wilder has been found out - second time this season we have shipped 3 in the first half - truly appalling football by us Looks like they turned up expecting to stroll it - if Cardiff had 5 it wouldn’t flatter them
  20. Plenty of positives and probably just as many negatives last night Roberts looks assured in goal - been impressed by him and don’t worry about him at all. Jones - not MoM for me but glimpses of last year’s form - delivery often poor though McGree is not a number 10 - he is clearly an 8 who sits behind 2 forwards . Plenty of energy in the first half but anonymous second before he came off. Clarke had a shocker first half - Improved a bit second half Fry was steady at the defending bit but as usual wasted possession by hoofing it long , although that was often due to
  21. My point was that Tav is the only miss as I haven’t seen anything from Mowatt yet, although early days. Johnny ain’t up to the multi game weeks so I agree we need some dynamism in the middle , but rest of the park we are upgraded on last year
