Non-Boro Football

Same as the transfer one, except for throughout the season! Any domestic league discussion welcome!

First thing I'd like to bring up- has anyone seen Utds lineup for tonight?!

De Gea, Valencia, Vidic, Carrick, Evra, Cleverley, Scholes, Kagawa, Nani, Rooney, Welbeck

Thats mental. Two recognised defenders selected. I really can't see them putting up much of a fight for the title with selections like this, even with RVP coming in.
To be fair they have four centre backs injured, I assume Rafael is currently injured as well. It is worrying how often they seem to end up in these defensive crises though, Valencia must have played at right back at least five times this year.
You don't need to defend if you always in possession of the ball though - a lesson we could do with learning! Smile
But you still need a solid and settled defence to go anywhere. I cant think of a single team that didnt have one yet was able to win a league title. In any division in the world!
It was tongue in cheek, but in fairness Carrick isnt a bad footballing Centre half and Valencia has played wingback on a number of occasions.

If the full team works hard to close down the space which United do they can get away with it, although I do agree not for a whole season!
It's a good game. Evertons movement is excellent, Felliani and Pienaar are really impressive in their roles behind the striker.
yeah, been watching it too, everton have been impressive.

impressed with neville in the holding role aswell

not watching the second half, gonna watch the programme about the riots thats on BBC 1
