Dynamo Kev 1,552
wow this league is well watched. average across the league 20k so far. compare that to serie A 24k, ligue 1 22k, primera 27k. unbelievable jeff. germany 44k, prem 38k way out in the lead. holland 18k, belgium 11k, portugal 12k, russia 13k, brazil 16k, german 2nd div 17k. http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-championship-2017-2018/1/ Makes you think, why the hell does this league not have proper tv shows etc. barmy having such a crap media. premier league should create a premier league 2 division. clearly the efl does not know how to market. for all the crap on sky sports, if they actually make proper champo shows on sat sun and midweek they would increase views figures than just having prem seasons or golf on. Perhaps the attendances are so high because there are no decent highlights programmes on tv! ;)

SouthernSmoggie 4,223
I do find it strange how little coverage the Championship gets on both TV and the written press here. If someone took it seriously and made a good highlights/discussion show then they could do really well. Interestingly I heard this week that the PL is struggling to pull in viewing figures for games not involving the top 6. Teams like Bournemouth, Hudders, Brighton etc don't have the same draw as a club like say Villa, Leeds, or even Boro & Sunderland do. There are a lot of huge well supported clubs in the Championship now, its a big market.
Borodane 6,246
The number of TV games has certainly been bumped up. Is it 3-5 games a week now that’s live? At least Friday, Saturday and Sunday and all those games are possibly to watch on tv here in Denmark. I don’t know if there are so many games in England but they may want to protect attendances. Production could be better though with more cameras.

With various succes. The guy doing the Sunderland game said we had spent three times more than any other team in the division.
