Warnock. Retires (for the 473rd time). Signs 8 match contract with Boro. Keeps Boro up with 2 games to spare. Can't resist the allure of one more season in management, for a club and chairman he's alw

Agree with those saying don’t get carried away etc. But when you say “on another day if stoke had scored there chances we’d have lost 3-2”, you also have to factor in that on another day we could/shou

I'm actually happy he is starting. Looks a decent team. 442

Like that lineup bit surprised he's stuck Howson at CB but glad to see Spence starting, there's alot of options for us we have two widemen two proper fullbacks and two strikers surely Warnock's thinking there's a couple of goals in us.

Looks like maybe 3-4-1-2 to me.

I'm actually enthused about this for the first time in a long time. Still expecting the typical boro moment to come along and crush that optimism though.

What even is the formation? From the way it's presented it looks like 5-3-2

Stojanovic
Spence Howson Fry Friend Johnson
Saville McNair Roberts
Fletcher Assombalonga

Which I guess it could be, unless he's playing Fletch out wide:

Stojanovic
Spence Fry Friend Johnson
Howson Saville McNair
Roberts Britt Fletch

Or even:

Stojanovic
Spence McNair Fry Friend
Roberts Howson Saville Johnson
Britt Fletch

I guess we'll see. Shame to be missing Coulson, though.

It was mentioned on fmttm that Rudy was off to France and would nor be involved this weekend. That now seems to be true.

Surprised at both Howson and Friend in back 3 ahead of Shotton and Moukoudi. Thought one of them two might have started in back 3.

Fully expect Roberts and Fletch to be either side of Britt.

Lifeline for Saville.
