My 25,000th post

Recommended Posts

Far too much time spent on the forum it would seem.

Thank you all for tolerating me for so long but it has been a real pleasure being part and parcel of the forum and for the friendships I have gained over the years with other forum members.

Now how many more posts I wonder?

Thanks again each and everyone of you

    • I wouldn't mind Mendez-Laing from Cardiff. Younger and also only has 1 year left on his contract.
    • Tom Ince is available on loan apparently.  Worth considering?
    • Harry played 10 first team games, plus 2 as sub, between 1970 -1975, making his debut at home to Watford in a 2-2 draw on the 31st October 1970 with his final 2 appearences he deputised for Bobby Murdoch when wearing the No7 shirt, away to Arseanal on the 30th November in a 2-0 defeat with his fianl appearence at home to Man Utd in the league cup 5th round, the game ended 0-0, this was also Peter Creamer, deputising for John Craggs, final Boro appearance He went on loan to Hartlepools in january 1976 & signed for Chesterfield in March 1976
    • Because of his fee (2-4 million would be my ballpark) we'd have to be offering a 3 year deal to him which would take him to his 32nd birthday so not terribly old certainly not in Downing territory. Listen in the market where League 1 wingers are priced at 2 million getting Junior Hoilett for that kind of price would be good business the problem I see here is Cardiff will be desperate to keep their main creative player outside of silly money. Another one in the can't hurt to try but chances of it happening seem slim to me we paid 6 million for Howson who was entering his final year in this league teams would rather let them walk on a free than sell to a division rival remotely cheaply.
