Then he's reviewing footage that our scouts/recruitment team finds and not just the YouTube highlights agents send across, like he said, he'd spent most the previous day from that media conference reviewing this stuff personally and threw out a couple our stats guys had marked up as ones to look at. I was responding to CTs comments really. Im guessing the most successful teams have a variety of approaches for finding players. If he signs ten players I can pretty much guarantee that two or three of them will be disappointing, its just the nature of Football. No scouts, just agents recommending players? That's not what I was saying exactly. You seemed to be saying it was good that he knew his own mind and turned down our stats guys recommendations. I was pointing out that his own judgement isn't exactly infallible with the example of Gary Madine. I have no idea what he's doing other than he was quite happy to say that he'd asked agents to recommend some players to him, something I'm not a big fan of. Link to post Share on other sites

When he was talking about getting players from Spain, he mentioned how he signed Camarasa when he was at Cardiff.
