smogsterking the Inspirati 2,490
I dont think I'm exaggerating when I say when you think of great left backs Maldini Friend and Carlos top most lists.
TLF10 4,497
You can say what you want about him being not being player he was but he will go down as a true legend of the club imo. He was a joy to watch and at his peak the best left back in this league. But putting that aside a totally top bloke. Knew what it meant to play for this club and really bought in to the club, the fans and the area in a way not many players do. Good luck George and hopefully you return to us in some capacity soon.
Jamie-H 1,322
Good luck to him will always have fond memories of his service to us especially that first 4 years he was one of the best around. On the bright side this gives us more room on the wage side since he declined the renewal offer, especially if Stubbs steps up into the 4th CB spot.

Redcar Rioja 5,976
Just maybe the Club are managing to keep their targets and negotiations under wraps and in doing so things look very quiet from the outside looking in but they may actually be very fruitful and productive when its all completed. Most of the "targets" so far are just names that we have come up with on here but truth is that apart from Hall, Goode and perhaps Amos nothing much has been mentioned or confirmed officially. Its very likely that we will have a "Bus day" where two or three turn up at once then it will all feel a bit better. Pears to Blackburn, then Phillips comes in along with Goode, Maddison, Murphy or Stewart and suddenly things would look a bit better stocked for the start of the season plus we are supposedly already in talks with Dan Glazer from Maccabi Tel Aviv. Throw in an agreement with Burnley for Ben Gibson and I think fans will feel a little more composed. What we don't want is overpriced panic signings with contracts to match like the reported/alleged £25K week for Kieffer Moore. Patience will be a virtue in this transfer window.

Thats fine and dandy if you have belief in the people who do those deals. Noone but Gibson has belief in the clowns at Boro. Ronaldo could turn up tomorrow wanting to play for free and Gill and his cronies would claim his stats arent as good as some nobody from league 1, and Bauser would cock it up with his negotiation skills.
