There is nothing really in the cards.

Stewart has turned us down.

Roberts doesnt want to come back

Sanogo is sounding out his options this one will drag.

Gibson is the most likely but Burnley will drag it out hoping they get a perm deal this wont happen soon.

The 3 trialists arent players likely to quickly challenge for first team football and it looks like we wont be taking them on.

Don't feed the troll 😂

Hi guys! PAOK fan here from Greece. You are getting a really hard worker in Akpom. He is a top lad and a good professional. When he first came, he was considered a bench player. It was the 2018-19 sea

Morsy nearly done

Williams fee nearly agreed. 1.75million rising to 2.5 (So 1.75 then 😂).

Anyone know why we are playing so few friendlies? Only the one more against the skunks isn't there for the first team seems very light in terms of minutes on the legs of the players.

Because unlike other teams we have to keep playing the same team due to us being incapable of making signings.

Because we only finished last season 5 weeks ago, it's more like a mid season break

Well is very short preseason. Plus we have played Plymouth twice last week on Tuesday then again Friday. Have Newcastle on Tuesday and then EFL cup and Shrewsbury on Friday. Then the following Friday the Championship restarts. So to be fair think they is enough game's

On a similar note Shankland is not in the Dundee Utd team today.

Looking at his photo today if it was Whiteman at Rockliffe his hair must grow at a rapid rate of knots. He is at the Donny match but not in squad.

Thats why I'm not annoyed about having Warnock in charge or stressing about transfers. If the world is back to normal in 12 months and club is on a better financial footing then thats probably a good starting point for a new manager.

Why would the club be on a better financial footing in 12 months time?  We should have just appointed this new manager now if that's what we wanted to do, but clearly it isn't.

I think he was saying that supporters will be back at matches by then, so the club will have the extra income from fans attending matches.

The club had most of that income last season regardless.  We only missed 5 home games due to Covid and by the sound of it we won't have full houses for quite some time this season, that's if we do at all.  I'd be surprised if they were able to increase commercial revenue this season, stuff like sponsorship will be well down.  This summer was an ideal time to bring in a new manager and we did that, we brought in Warnock.  Now every player we sign is a financial resource being spent on his behalf rather than someone else's, and we are going to sign more players, even if things haven't gone to plan so far.
