Exasperating, frustrating and annoying all at the same time. Surely if Bolasie as an example is coming here then he has had at least a few days to think about it and for all parties to get things sorted, same in reverse goes for Pears etc. At least under lockdown we know they can't go down the Pub. If you've ever sold anything on eBay, you'll know that the biggest surge of interest in your item usually comes in the final few minutes, when people are desperate and forced into a decision. RichAcklam2404 928
I wonder if the money from Pears will help a deal coming in...

He's on £70k per week mate. I think it's safe to say that getting him here will take some serious negotiation with Everton, never mind him.
CrazyL 2,565
Everton would need to pay 80% of Bolassie’ wages to make it possible
Weasel 965
Sounds like we can't afford Bolasie and now we're just trying for a striker, no?

Adamjr9 139
Assume they’re just waiting to see if any other club is willing to beat our offer then? They can’t wait much longer now though surely?

Will just depend on whether someone will outpay us. They won't want his full salary on the books. Expect it to go all day, they'll be bouncing offers back and forth.

They must hope he can keep up his good form now. From what I saw, they're still trying to find a way of doing the deal before the deadline. Suspect either way it's only delaying the inevitable and there's always January. Still quite doubtful of him playing for Brentford ever again.
