Well Keane is Irish like about 10% of the US claim to be (approx 35 million)

And Woody is wildly unqualified for the job he is going for but talks a good game. The good old US of A snap them up 🤔

Which MLS team was Keane a boyhood fan of?

Sky sports confirming Burnley have told Gibbo to stay away

Quote

Defender Ben Gibson has not returned to training with the rest of the Burnley squad ahead of the new season. He was allowed to train away from the club for the second half of last season.

Woodgate in America with a criminal record and COVID Visa restrictions 😆

Woodgate won't even know what Covid is. I'd be surprised if he could point out where America is on a map either.

I honestly dont know how they can see him as so divisive within the group. We all know about the incident on the training ground but its very excessive

This incident.

Thing is Dyche has been rumoured to have fallen out with chairman too.  I am surprised they think freezing him out is a good way to get a any value back on him.  It makes them much weaker in negotiating a fee

    • I’ll be paying the cash for this. I should’ve just bought the bloody season pass....   either way, I can’t see whatmore and roberts both starting, but I’m all for this being a Roberts game. I reckon we will be pressing high up the pitch, so having him on the ball in the final third would be perfect. Aside from that, both saville and McNair were visibly struggling towards the end of the last game, I reckon there might be some rested legs....
    • If we can offload someone then fine, I'm not sure how likely it is though.  Assombalonga will be on too much money I'd have thought and why pay any kind of transfer fee for a player you can get on a free transfer 6 months down the line.
    • We should be trying to sell Assombalonga in January, he's not contributing anywhere near enough to be indispensable and getting something for him is better than nothing. He's also not contributing anywhere near enough to be worth a new contract, at least in my opinion.
    • Would make more sense to wait until the summer I think?
    • If Britt and Fletcher don't sign new contracts soon I would guess Warnock will move heaven and earth to get a new striker. I know they're not great but they're decent enough and to lose for nothing would be terrible.
