Hi guys! PAOK fan here from Greece. You are getting a really hard worker in Akpom. He is a top lad and a good professional. When he first came, he was considered a bench player. It was the 2018-19 sea

Morsy nearly done

Williams fee nearly agreed. 1.75million rising to 2.5 (So 1.75 then 😂).

you're surprised Pears is worth a fee?

Christ I must be blind. I thought we talking about Mejias. It was because I read a post further up about Mejias. We should absolutely be getting a fee for Pears and would be surprised if we get one for Mejias.

I did think that might be what happened, two convos about two goalkeepers happening at the same time!

I liked Pears but they must have a reason for getting rid.. Maybe he won't sign a new deal? or has an agent they don't want to deal with?.. A couple of the young lads signed new deals last year (Spence, Wood and Coulson) so you have to think what they're offering is fair. Also we're living in a time where getting a 100k for him might actually matter.

Won't sign a new contract as given no assurances he'd be playing, wants to be first choice after last season but told he won't be. His dads link to Mowbray is behind the move to Blackburn.

I think it makes sense all round.

He won't be first choice at Blackburn either, which is what confuses me.

Yeah this is the surprising part for me. Can only see him getting the odd cup game for them.

Ok all very confusing but am I correct that Stoj is on hs way out as well?

Surely he must be needed as number 2 keeper?

think they are all available if we accept an offer and find a replacement

The only one who has suggested Stoj could leave was that turnip Graeme Bailey, so I doubt it somewhat.

    • At the moment, it looks like an NHS COVID Pass is something you may need for international travel and some of the pilot events we've been running to test crowds returning. Other than that, I'm not sure we're going to be making it mandatory in the short or long term. For me, it seems like something that makes sense in the short term but perhaps something we should move away from in the long term. I don't know much about the situation where some may not be able to get the vaccine for health reasons but if that's the case, we'll need to be able to prove they're exempt. Ultimately though, the vaccine is a choice and regardless of whether or not they're stupid anti-vaxxers, so long as the majority of the country is vaccinated, we may need to live without inhibiting people based on their vaccination status.
    • You test yourselves?  Here we go to a test area, where educated people do the testing.
    • I'm still in England mode, I'll need to wait for them to get knocked out or win the tournament before I can get excited by Boro stuff again.
    • It is very likely that most of the crowd will either be Danish or cheering them on, as travel rules not helping Welsh. Both teams are in the situation that there are no huge expectations about them and they will both be thinking, we can beat them..  it is "only" Wales/Denmark not France, Italy or Netherlands, so this has the potential to be a really good game..  now if I can just find something to do for two days...
    • Well the thing with festivals is that people are mostly there for the music and you usually have that much in common to talk about. Or you can just focus on the bands and tune everything else out. Or at least I can. Its just formal social situations I hate. 😉 Its not so much crowds themselves...its being expected to interact with people that bothers me. Thats when my social anxiety kicks in. ☹️
