Reading this has made me think I have went back a week in time. Strange conclusion that mate

Actions speak louder then words. Speculation and rumors don’t win games and it’s time the club prove there worth. They asked a decent manager to lead the club he in turn give them his players of choice, he signed. As of today I don’t see the club has played there part.

He's a Scottish lad from a club on the Fylde coast... nickname is Fleetwood Mac

He'll probably go his own way...won't be interested in signing for Boro. 😉

Morsy will be a fantastic signing. We signed Bettenelli yesterday. Yes it’s slower than we all wanted but if we start to make waves over the next couple of weeks all will be forgotten. I was beginning to lose faith aswell but it looks to be back on an upward trajectory now in regards to signings.

You make a good point but we are still 4 to 5 players short of a decent squad size.

True. Convinced it’s fallen through but if it has would rather know about it ASAP then we can as fans get used to the idea

Not sure why some are fussed about Sanogo.

His record isn't great.

I think I'd have rather give Stephen Walker game time to be honest.

I think it’s more the fact people are a bit worried that there’s no plan b in terms of bringing in an alternative striker, rather than Sanogo being an exciting signing

Would sooner we know it's fallen through so the club can focus on getting someone half decent in.

There's still plenty of time.

Sanogo wouldn't have played much this month, he'll be unfit and lacking sharpness, so that's not much of an issue for a different target.

Honestly using a players past record against them is rather silly to be honest.. I seem to recall both Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy having really poor records in the championship yet have gone on to be brilliant goal scorers for both club and country.

    • Well it's game day and finally I am looking forward to watching the Boro again. Yes the games come thick and fast but it is a bonus when you really do look forward to the matches. Such a difference a year makes. 3 away points are due so why not today? UTB!
    • @Redcar Rioja I'd start with the same team that started against Derby, partly for the reasons you mentioned above in terms of ability for NW to control the game. But also I can imagine the first 60 minutes of today being a very tight game. Huddersfield play a similar style to us in terms of a man to man system (If you believe the Brentford head coach), and I can envisage them being compact in defence and matching us 1 on 1. With Roberts, Tav and Whatmore behind the lone striker they (in my opinion) are more likely to unlock a compact defence than if Johnson or Spence were starting. If we can entice Huddersfield to push forwards and move away from their marking style later in the game, that's when I'd bring Johnson and Spence on, that way they can exploit the space that will open up. If we can nick a goal before that point Huddersfield may open up sooner in pursuit of the equaliser.  I think the first goal today will decide the winner of the game. I have a hunch we'll win this game 0-2.
    • Wrong George, I meant Saville, where on earth did Friend come from???? Subliminal thinking, instinctively programmed for years, that of course and I hadn't had my coffee yet! 😁 Clearly gone but not forgotten.
    • Oh dear mate. I have some bad news to tell you about Friend 🙁
    • With the amount of Subs now allowed I wouldn't be surprised if NW threw the gauntlet down to Roberts and Watmore after the Johnson and Spence cameos the other night and started with them again. With match fitness a question mark over both I would guess he would rather start with them and then plan to take them off when tiring rather than maybe having to put them on early as a Sub if an injury occurred. Warnock seems very protective of his players and the risk of them picking up injuries which is why I think he may start with Roberts and Watmore as it gives him more in-game control. The obvious choice would be if he started with those that finished on Wednesday night but I suspect he will want to keep morale high across the squad and keep faith in Watmore and Roberts knowing that he can fall back on Johnson and Spence. Whatever he goes with he has my confidence and trust which is something I don't think I have felt about a Boro Manager in a very long time.
