Does Gibbo even belong to the 1%? In a football sense he's probably a bit on the poor side

The thing is if we by some miracle get promotion will Gibson actually spend and recruite to keep us up.

No and that’s the whole point now. We could get promoted and it would barely be worth celebrating, we won’t sign any exciting players or progress as a club. We could stay up or go down but in this current direction we will always be left disappointed, underwhelmed and just bored.

I would just like to say that if we got promoted I would celebrate.

Hardly gonna be ‘start of a new era’ type stuff is it, just more expensive incompetence.

It's not him though really it's the fact we should of could of signed Woodrow, Rahman, benkovic if these came I wouldn't mind losing Bolasie

woodrow? we signed akpom though. hes not coming to warm the bench obviously. either him or akpom that one. rahman, the chelsea fan said injuries have ruined him hes finished barely kicked a ball in 2 years and you'd have him lol. benkovic? cb isnt he who we dropping? fry or paddy?  is hall going to be a bench warmed. he isnt coming here to push out fry or hall is he. that *** man. people maoning like *** because we never signed a crock and a mercenary is what it seems to me. maybe we pulled the deal for bolasie because we managed sort of a lad who's a free agent. maybe bolasie was cancelled because we never got a left back so the system wont fit him now. loads of factors to think about. maybe warnock did wan to go 433 and was trying to get in another winger and a proper left back but needed both deals to go through to make it worthwhile to us. maybe gibbo pulled it because he bottled it with all the insecurity of the club at this time. we'll be sound probably get a couple of free in and be sorted for season.

Warnock even says we need another striker as Fletcher is injured until we don't know when. So Britt and Akpom will now have to play ever match until we sign some free agent striker. Next we didn't have to get Baba plenty of others LB available. But now as we haven't face until January with Johnson at LB and no flexibility to play 4 at back. On to the next part Fry is the only fit CB at the club with Woody Hall is injured. Then Roberts is the only real winger at the club as Tav is more Central number 10. Would of been great to have that extra winger in so we could actually play with wingers. Now I bet Roberts and Tav will alternate in that slot behind the 2 strikers. Limiting Tav game time again I bet like at end of last season. If we fixed these positions we would of gone from mid table side to one capable of top 2. That's the most disappointing side to it.

    • Here we go as these Championship games are coming thick & fast & we can put our latest, unfortunate defeat behind us, move on & put another unbeaten run together, Neil Warnock wont let any of the player feel sorry for themselves after Saturdays defeat   And what better way to respond than to have a consecutive home game, they maybe struggling at the foot of the table but if we treat them with anything but respect they’ll turn us over   We’ve had some cracking games with Derby over the years at home, beating them 6-1, 5-1 even reaching our 1st ever FAC SF after winning at the baseball ground but its league points we’re after to achieve our goal of forcing our way in to the playoffs   Our 1st meeting between both teams on Teesside was back in 1903, our last season & penultimate game at Linthorpe road when the mighty Boro won 3-1, which included the final penalty taken on that ground   Since then we’ve met 147 times in total, Boro winning 64, drawing 34 & losing 50   Did you know we have scored 3 hattrick against Derby County George Camsell in 1929 John O’Rourke in 1967 Ravanelli in 1997   Represented  for both teams   Sir Bruce Rioch Colin Todd Ohhhhh Ravanelli Mikkel Beck Malcolm Christie who scored the only goal & very, very late goal at home to Brighton to start our carling cup run Chris Riggott David Nugent Ryan Shotton Ohhhhh Ravanelli Cyrus Christie Benito Carbone
    • You say that mate but he has perfectly good winger in Roberts sitting on the bench while he plays a young right back there. If he is expecting the likes of Bolasie and Grosicki to do the hard graft that I'm assuming he doesn't play Roberts for then I think he'll be in for a shock.
    • It was only ever good because of the chemistry between Jeff and the pundits. A  football show without any football had no right to be so entertaining.  They weren't the most insightful pundits around but that was part of the fun. You could tell they were enjoying themselves and all genuinely loved the game.
    • Sorry will put one up soon 👍
    • Just going back to Britt. Is there anywhere where it says he signed a 4yr deal? I just googled us signing him and there no mention of the length of contract in any of articles i can find?
