No mate, not a slight on his quality, it was about the style of play. Read the post I was originally replying to - it was about hoping to get a mobile centre back in rather than a lump.
BoroJake 2,331
When you fail to sign one arsenal reject! Move on to the next. I swear someone at the club is running an old version of FM. Sanogo and now Akpom
Smogzilla 7,385
Reading twitter it SEEMS that besiktas and fenerbache were after him but he wanted to come back to England.
Skinemrippers 894
I’m keeping an open mind and I’m happy we have a new striker. Hopefully this is the one Warnock has wanted all along and that’s not just media/fan talk. Let’s see what he can do. Maybe this will open up some more deals to come if it’s taken a long time to sort out.

It's hardly like Britt and Fletch have been spooning bag fulls of chances.

Maybe now he’s got him, the creative players can move up the priority list. He’s got the GK, CB, DM and CF. His top priorities. Move onto the others now. Weasel 965
Akpom is not a bad player. Not sure why people are being so negative. Not sure about 3m pounds on him mind, would rather have Roberts for 3.5m
Skinemrippers 894
I’m pretty sure when asked yesterday about creative players, when Warnock said we have Tav and Wing (if he plays to his potential) he knows exactly what we need!
Borodane 6,246
At least he is young and has his best years ahead of him and some different experience. Much rather him than Sanogo for me. But I can't say I know a lot about him.

DevKWat 2,365
What I will say is at €3m (£2mish?) I cant see us losing money on him at the very least.
