Plenty of people on here defended the appointment.

I would imagine it was more the role than the credentials of the guy that was hired.

As it's looking a virtual certainty that Warnock is going to get the job for next season, it's worth noting both the significant positives and negatives that will result from Warnock being our manager

👀Thanks for the invite, really appreciate it.

The Evening Gazette has said that Steve Gibson is against a director of football because it would add another 6 figure salary onto the wage bill. I can't help but question whether that is the true mot

We need wingers desperately and strikers can't go around in circles after these shock strikers when we have barely a front line.

Opps wrong thread 😅

Any developments on Scott? You'd have thought if it was happening it would be happening this week?

Why?

His contract with Norwich would presumably prevent him starting elsewhere while there's a transfer window open

Fair enough. Dunno. Nothing had come out of the club when I asked anyway, but Warnock himself has confirmed it now.

"Head of Football" interesting job title. Any conclusions we can draw from that wording?

He has a very spherical head with pentagonal black patches.

So Neil Bausor what's his role now

He'll still be chief exec, though perhaps sticking to the business side now and letting Scott do transfers/ player contracts etc?

Fantastic news to have Kieran Scott officially confirmed. Full credit to Gibson for making the decision to go in this new direction. Hopefully we get clarity on the scope of his role in the next few days. I'm assuming the title of Head of Football is basically the same role as a Sporting Director or Director of Football.

Hopefully this is the beginning of us reemerging as an established Premier League club in the medium to long term 🤞
